If you stay with Amex Platinum hotel collection and receive benefits, you might be disappointed. It says complimentary breakfast, which at check-in you learn is $30 a day. This might be ok except lattes are $7 and there's a 20% gratuity included on all bills. The $100 resort credit can only be used at their rooftop bar and their "member's" restaurant (not the two on-site restaurants on the ground floor) and in-room mini bar, however half the items were expired. The gym in the basement is solid and better equipped than most, but wish there was natural light. Pool table in lobby is nice touch. Housekeeping knocked on door and we asked she come back in an hour. We were disappointed upon returning home to our unrefreshed room. The realized she did come because we had new towels. But the next morning I asked the owner if it was okay if I left a half hour after their 10:30 checkout and at he said okay. After I thanked him and before I was able to ask for a recommendation for a breakfast place he went wacky. He asked me not to tell him how to run his business and told me to f-off. Being in the directly in the middle of SoBo. A very short distance from downtown and Broadway station. The customer service was very great. The owner cares about his hotel and you can tell by speaking to him. If there were any problems he was very helpful. All in all, this motel is one of the better motels in the Broadway area. If you don't want to spend $90+ on a hotel then The Wright Motel is the right motel for you.

Lots of our local friends knew the house and were surprised to learn it was a bed and breakfast. (If I were local, I would make a point to stay.) It's like sleeping over in a museum time machine--which I can say is a dream of mine. Castle Marne is totally unique and delightful. It's an absolute treasure and it owes everything to the Peiker family, who have been operating the b&b for the last 30 years and who restored the entire house and property--there's a photo album to prove it if you're still not impressed. Our group stayed in 2 rooms: The Tower and one downstairs whose name I already forgot. Both were beautifully decorated with detail and respect for the home's Victorian roots. The property is immaculately landscaped so every window had a great view and soft light filtered through large trees. The rooms were spotless and everyone had a little extra space. We learned The Tower was originally an open porch area for the third floor ballroom! Our second room was added in the 1930s and felt like it's own apartment--with a separate porch and entry door very convenient for people like myself who forget things and have to go back inside 3-4 times before actually leaving. Delicious, healthy breakfast is served in the dining room with the other guests. Our hosts made bread, muffins, and fresh jam from scratch!! They were happy to accommodate one vegan diet as well. About 20 minutes later they finally texted back and told me to "lift the door up and it will roll to the right" When I followed that, the heavy door came off its track and crashed to the floor. It missed my child by maybe a foot. By sheer luck my daughter wasn't killed. I should have called the police to get my kids out instead of listening to their terrible advice. I've attached screenshots as of text communication as proof. Afterward, the hosts posted an Airbnb review claiming I "berated" them and "splintered their priceless door." The attached text messages show them being apologetic in real time until they wrote their public review. I never berated anyone, but I should have. Other issues: - Strong noise and odor from ducks in a cage or pen next to the room - Front door opens directly into a parking lot where homeless people frequently loitered - Cleanliness below basic standards Bottom line: the door is a serious hazard. The hosts were slow to respond and gave advice that nearly caused a disaster. This place is not safe for kids.

Pot smell down every hallway, so you better be a stoner if you want to live in this building. We won't even discuss the neighbors that are animal owners that don't clean up after them and you can smell it on the level you live on or up/down a level from the unit your in. In order to have anything come in or out of this building, the non-office, office people will make you jump through hoops as well. This building is horribly managed, in fact they can't even keep a manager. Building has been updated by a false contractor from the past, who had no business doing work in that building. For that being said, this building is not structurally sound or safe by any means and "THEY" know this. You even have to have a general contractor license in order to change a light bulb and that's no joke. If there is anything good to say about this building, it would be the front desk people are nice, but it's their job. Again, not talking about the incompetent office personal. They are getting ready to do structural work on the 1st 3 to 4 floors and the company they hired hasn't started yet and the know what they are doing. This should be really interesting... So many other buildings to call home, rather than this dump...

The maintenance will charge you an arm and a leg for any miner repairs. They administration is terrible: they don't allow you to fix anything with outside source. You don't feel ownership of your own property. They control what you can or mostly what you cannot do in your own condo. Taxes are huge (Welcome to Denver!) If you are to rent your own condo for a long-term lease, you have to get an inspection $150 and a license from City of Denver $125 and pay for it. You will not make any money on renting here.

The positives are it is located in a great area close to music venues, Ball Stadium, Invesco, restaurants and shopping. They have all of the amenities stove, microwave, dishes, refrigerator, washer and dryer, the option of indoor parking, and pets are allowed and open area outside to take dogs out to walk. But it was not the best either. It wasn't disgusting dirty, but it also wasn't the cleanest that goes for inside and out, we would go in and out to walk our dogs a few times a day and night and it there was always broken glass, vomit on top of the wall around the building above the stairs, and someone accidentally dropped and broke a bottle full of large omega fish oil vitamins, we would walk the dogs and it did not seem like there was anyone who maintains the property outside, and we had to walk our dogs past those things. Inside wasn't maintained or cleaned one day someones dog peed inside the elevator it was stinky and that never got cleaned up. The color of the couch in our condo was white and it had a lot of stains, not something we felt keen on sitting on to watch TV, so I went to Walmart to purchase an affordable sheet to drape over it so we could. We wanted a king size bed, and in most cases and based on past experience you expect the king size bed to be great quality, lush, and comfy, but the mattress was more like a futon mattress, we didn't experience our best sleep, all in all it isn't the worst place to stay, but in relation to how much it costs I had higher expectations and we won't choose to go back. If this review brings some improvements to those areas it would be a very nice place.
