It took an hour here because the staff member (Mary I believe) was so unskilled and poorly trained. She scraped the old shellac with so much force it was painful and she also ripped off half a nail, which is now damaged and sore. She also cut two of my cuticles, one of which is still very painful and red. Her shellac application was pretty messy and she filed my nails at odd angles. I regret leaving a tip because I feel like I rewarded her. I would avoid this place, or at least make sure you don't book with Mary.

I opted for the breathtaking pedicure (complete with hot stone leg massage, mineral mask and paraffin treatment) and my feet have never looked better. As for my manicure, I got my nails done in dip with a few extra designs and two tips (since I had broken a couple nails) and they are honestly so glamorous...I'm in love! The pedicure I got was the best I have ever had. My nails looked so neat, and the colour is still on my toes! The massage chairs are divine- but don't be shy to ask how they work. It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but once I nailed the setting, I was able to enjoy it. The gel nails I got stayed on for about 3 weeks, until I went into the salon to have them taken off. They were in great shape when I had them removed, but I had just grown old of them. The shellac stayed on for this full period too, without chipping-- which is more than what I can say for most salons offering shellac polish. I was really impressed that Vanessa stayed after the closing hour to complete my nails, without rushing me. Overall, the decor is a bit tacky, but I will come here again for the service. It is fantastic, very affordable and the products are the best I have received. They have a GREAT, fun selection of polishes, including the shellac too (many other salons don't have a great selection). I would recommend this salon to friends, and would definitely go again!

From the service side, I was disappointed because I don't like it when the nail tech doesn't pay 100% attention to the customer. She started speaking in her language to another employee there every now and then. Then, I realized she was almost training the other employee at doing nails, and was explaining how she was doing it. At first that wasn't too bad, but then after 30 min, it seemed as if she paid no mind to me and just forgot that I was a person, not just a pair of hands, so she offered no conversation or involved me in any way-- nothing. I was happy with my nails, so in the end, I wasn't mad. It's just not ideal, from a service perspective. ---I went in a second time, and got Mel. She is amazing! I told her I didn't have much time for a full acrylic nail process, and we came up with a short cut that looked just like the full 1hr process. She went straight at it, no distractions, and my nails were perfect! She made my day--basically week, because she was so careful and quick. No cuts, perfect coating, and exact shape I wanted. I would choose her again and again! ---The third time I came to get an upper lip wax, and got Amy. She was quick and the wax they use is really effective. It's the first time the wax works so well on me. It was a bit messy, some got on my nose, but I didn't mind because she got it off before it dried. She was running behind on her last appointment, so I had to wait for about 5-7 min. And before being done with me, she went up to talk to a customer that walked in to the office. I wondered that why with such a quick procedure, she wouldn't just finish with me first and then go see the other customer, or had an extra employee to take care of the front. Oh well, it wasn't a big deal-- just not ideal. A tip if you're getting this done is you should wipe some alcohol on your upper lip every night to avoid little bumps or redness. ---All around good place, just not too high on customer service. And I've noticed the bedding area is not always very clean or has any place to leave your purse or jacket while you get something done.

I know atleast 11 other friends who are very fond of Jenny's and they are also regulars as well. I have got my nails done at many other salons and I can't say that any are quite like Jenny's. All of the employees are great workers and they each do a phenomenal job and pay close attention to detail. My nails always look beautiful and I have never left unimpressed. The only thing I must warn though is they can be very busy. So if you want to go it's best you book an appointment. Sometimes you may have to wait 10mins but for the most part they are on time. Pricing is awesome and the staff are great! Love this place. -Also if you ever end up waiting for an appointment, usually they will let you use their massage chairs for free. So that's always an added bonus.
