We originally were sat on the top floor, but it was busy with large parties and we could hardly hear each other speak. We asked if we could be sat outside (the weather was perfect) and they kindly accommodated our request. The food was typical for the region, and we were excited to try more local flavors. Asparagus was in season, so we had to order the asparagus soup (which came with a bite size tempura shrimp that was adorable). My husband ordered the spinach filled mezzelune, which melted in the mouth. Highly recommend!

Our server ignored us and spent all his energy on the three large party tables. While I realize he may have been overwhelmed I do expect some small things. Do not leave our wine, beer, and water empty for 20min. Never offered to refill just took our glasses. In addition, I was still nibbling on my entree and took before I could say anything. He spoke very fluent English so that was not the issue. We had very little dialogue while ordering to create any animosity. I was so frustrated and do not want to come off as an angry American so we just asked for our check and had gelato later vs dessert there.
