This place is a strong no go unless you are extremely well off, and even then I would strongly question them. I caught quite a few their underhanded sales tactics that are misleading. Their Manager Russ ignored me for a week when I tried to call him to sign up and pay for 3 day class which later I found out is not a class but just an orientation when I was told it is was supposed to be a class. they then double charged me and it took several days for it to be reversed. And then was extremely quick to kick me to the curb when they found out I couldn't afford 20k for their classes without any kind of roadmap or advice of what are some other options, which at least would be some common courtesy. I lost money dealing with these people because I paid and then lost days at my job. I highly recommend against dealing with them at all. Finished the Futures class yesterday and it was a great learning experience! The instructor Chris Manson presented the Futures material in a comprehensible manner that makes it easy to interact with the tools provided and execute the lab exercises. Had a Great week learning Options at my Online Trading Academy.

I've been part of OTA for about two years, first in Scottsdale, but the Chandler site is more convenient for me. I am not a full time trader, but I am actively managing my savings and IRA. I have found the information presented to be invaluable. The main emphasis, which I did not pay much attention to prior to OTA, is having discipline with all your trades, and knowing and managing your risk. While online trading academy courses are expensive, the support and education they offer is phenomenal. The courses are well taught with a variety of instructors, and you can retake them at no cost. The online videos, new on a daily basis, are terrific. They help to reinforce what is learned in class, as well as offer different viewpoints of each instructor. You can get nuggets of wisdom from each one. Then, if you have any questions or difficulties, the employees at the center are always ready to help, either by phone, online or in person. OTA Chandler, AZ is the best place ever to learn how to trade stocks, futures, Forex and options. The instructors, quite often, have huge experience, with many having traded in the pits on the CBOT or NYSE. All instructors have to demonstrate three years minimum of profitable trading in their own accounts and have deep knowledge of whatever asset they are teaching. Then to add to it, an educational counselor is assigned to you and you can bring in your trades for review. Even more you can retake the courses you signed up and paid for again and again--without extra cost. Lastly and most importantly, all the staff, instructors and counselors are available, friendly, responsive and invested in making sure students are successful in their trading careers. I just finished taking the 7 day OTA Core Strategy course in Chandler. The facility is right off the freeway so it's easy to get to. The course material gives an edge to traders that I wouldn't have come up with on my own. In the cutthroat world of trading, you need that edge. I highly recommend taking a look at OTA. You can do it for free without any commitments. And if you decide to move forward and purchase more classes, you will have a community of people wanting to help you be successful for the rest of your life.
