I have stopped by this shop on multiple visits to San Francisco. They have a great selection of apparel, souveneirs and personalized items! When I was here last year, I bought some super cute dog magnets for a friend, as they had both of her dogs' names available and I could not resist. The times I have visited, there has only been one clerk working and she has been very nice. I have never felt pressured while checking out all of the items they have available. We stopped by on our most recent visit (September 2026) and thought that there was so much to choose from! The shop is located on the second floor at Pier 39. I keep hearing the term the Bay thrown around and it's understandable if you have to tell your friend or family member that you live in the San Francisco Bay area when you live in Burlingame or Pinole. It makes it appear San Francisco is this big city when in reality there are less than 1 million people. Also gets confusing when they think you are saying you are from the Bay but are not from San Francisco. Being born and raised in San Francisco there are a few things the city has that no other city has in the world. Only in San Francisco has Coit Tower , Golden Gate Park, Dolores Park, Mission District Burrito, and great Cioppino. There is a place to show off you arrived in the city and its Only in San Francisco at Pier 39. Inside Only in San Francisco you will see all things San Francisco. You will see hoodies and bucket hats which displays San Francisco. They also have mugs and bags along with keychains and magnets which says San Francisco. It seems like tourist like wearing gear that says San Francisco more than locals ( locals like wearing ironic symbols and logos of SF with nicknames of San Francisco). Remember this place it's not called Only in Frisco or Only in San Fran ( don't start another social media debate about the city name)it's called " Only in San Francisco " Only in San Francisco is located San Francisco not "The Bay" it's located across from the San Francisco "Hard Rock Cafe" next to the big Christmas tree "display" I take no short cuts so it's Only in San Francisco "every day all day" Only in San Francisco is the store "name " but some "claim "The Bay but don't live in San Francisco and it's not the "same " because living in San Francisco is different than living in Pinole, Corte Madera, or "Burlingame" read more

My wife, my 8-month-old daughter, and I went into this store just to look around, and the experience made us feel very uncomfortable. While I was looking at sweaters, one of the women immediately came up to me and said, "You know what size are you?" in a way that didn't feel helpful it felt like I was being watched. Then when I moved to look at hats, she followed and stood right behind me the whole time. We felt singled out and monitored the entire visit. We are a young family, and I was holding my baby in my arms. There was no reason for us to be treated like we were doing something wrong. The way we were watched made us feel profiled and unwelcome. I hope management addresses this because no family should feel uncomfortable or judged while simply shopping. read more

I do not buy souvenirs. Do I buy souvenirs when my coworker asks for a San Francisco Snow globe for his six year old? Of course. This place has it ALL! The best part is that they are open 24 hours and located right on historic Fisherman's Wharf right by Pier 39 and the barking Sea Lions. Small souvenir store packed with everything that is San Francisco!! This place is Knick knack souvenir heaven, mugs, pens, hats, magnets, shirts, amongst the other unique only in SF items. I got a few mugs here, they wrap them up for you really good so they don't break. Hard not to buy something here, whether your a tourist or not!! read more

I needed some souvenirs and this place has it all and they're all reasonably priced for the most part. They have a huge selection of magnets and clothes. There really is a lot to choose from and you can find any kind of gift here. Definitely stop in if you're in a need of a gift or something to take home because this store has it all. read more

If you're a tourist and happen to stumble in here as you make your way to Alcatraz by way of Pier 39, then you'll notice this is a place to buy all things that have a SF logo, hence the name of the store. It's pretty much like a general liquor store but maxed out with all things SF. Items such as pens, hats, license plates, key chains, post cards, etc. My family and I bought a few sweaters to take home and a few drinks. I probably won't wear my bright red SF sweater again, unless I come back to town to visit family and friends. It did keep me warm though. LOL Prices were reasonable and the cashier that helped us was friendly. We will be back again for sure. read more

This place has souvenirs for CHEAP. I MEAN REALLY REALLY CHEAP. I think there is 2 of these stores within Pier 39, one near the entrance where the grass crab is and one is further in on the 2nd level? I believe this place is Chinese owned, it looks like it, with the dragons on some of their items. They had a "I heart SF" t-shirt for only $5 and other shirts for the same price. Fleece jackets were only $10 and waterproof or windbreaker type jackets were $20. Don't go to any other souvenir shop, they cost way more, this one is THE ONE to go to. read more

Gayle's Mom and Nephew are in town, so the 5 of us (including the Kid) took the boat out to Alcatraz yesterday. As expected, it was cool and foggy, and despite our warnings, the boys insisted on dressing as tourists (t-shirt and shorts). After they insisted that "it wasn't their fault", we went looking for sweatshirts. We wisely skipped the more expensive and captive audience offerings at Alcatraz Landing and walked up to Pier 39 and Only in San Francisco. I'm not a Fisherman's Wharf or Pier 39 type of guy, and normally would steer clear of a place like this. However, you can't beat paying $10 for a decent sweatshirt or fleece jacket to keep 2 snarly teenagers happy. Heck considering that peace in the land was achieved so quickly, I don't really care if they wear these things again! read more

The store itself was nice and offered many souvenirs at okay prices. I purchased a couple of magnets and enjoyed looking through the store however the lady at the counter was surprisingly rude which warranted this low star review. She grabbed my items and was lazy in handling them while she avoided eye contact and made me feel like I was such a nuisance. Even my boyfriend commented on how rude she was once we began to leave the store. Then something caught my eye and I wanted to buy it so I had to interact with her yet again. Didn't look forward to it but I hoped for a better attitude the second time around. No luck. Okay, so it's a touristy store, but I love taking out-of-town folks here to get something reasonably priced that is SF themed. They're usually neat with plenty of stock and a variety of items to chose from. I even pick up a few postcards to send off to people I know who miss SF and love receiving a postcard. Today, I took some Florida visiting friends here. They wanted some easy to carry stuff to purchase (small books, a few magnets, and some unique postcards). Most things in the store are 14.95 or less save a few totes, technology devices, and sweater/hoodies. They were able to find a few books on local tourist spots, a fun map, a handful of postcards, magnets, and a t-shirt to purchase. They were very satisfied with the amount of options to choose from, which in turn made me happy to bring them here. We spent about 45 minutes getting what my friends wanted before leaving. My friends were very happy to have discovered this place with me. I'll take even more friends here in the future. read more

Stopped by this place to pick up souvenirs, and it is filled to the brim with keychains, cups, t -shirts, magnets and any other kitschy take away you could want with the San Francisco sky line. They also had an assortment of chocolate in the back. My complaint was that it was extremely crowded as the entrance was narrow, and that a customer had placed her full size dog on top of the T-shirt display, just letting her pet relax on the merchandise. I understand that San Francisco is a pet friendly place, but I am not interested in buying a new shirt with dog hair all over it. None of the employees even noticed it or seemed to mind when I mentioned it. read more

I brought my parents to Fisherman's Wharf to do the whole tourist thing for their anniversary. As we were leaving, we stopped in here. Cheap prices -- pretty much all standard SF gift shop fare. My mom bought a shirt with screen printing on it, and when she got home, the design ripped off as she peeled off the size sticker. She called the store and asked if she could send it back for an exchange. The guy there told her not to worry about it and mailed her a new one the next day! I generally don't expect stellar customer service from businesses that serve tourists, but these guys are great! read more

Was in a rush and needed a specific style poster of Golden Gate Bridge for a friend. Now let me lay this out.. It's 9pm and we can't find anything local around San Jose. We call and after two rings a friendly voice answers. We ask what they got and BAM get told is 4-5 different types. Ask what time they close its 1130. We wheels up for 60min trip.. Get near and my bro jumps out in the taxi/uber pull up line. I drove off and down a few blocks to park and sit. Get a call 7mins later and ready for pickup... This souvenir shop has a large variety of gifts and features assorted discounts, which makes it more attractive than some of the other shops in Pier 39. It's key location (right at the opening of Pier 39) doesn't hurt :) I spotted many tourists buy SF sweatshirts because they were underdressed for the SF weather. Haha. read more

When I was in San Francisco, I stopped by here to buy some stuff for family and friends back home. They sell nearly everything San Francisco related, so you're bound to find something you'll like here. I was able to pick up personalized SF magnets as gifts, and they weren't too expensive ( about $3-$4 a magnet, if my memory serves me right?) This place was decently priced. Most items were of decent quality and were $3-$12. Of course there were more expensive things, and postcards are always a great deal. But once you buy several items you may be shocked to realize you've just spent $50 on a couple of paperweights, some postcards, and a magnet or two. Such is souvenir-buying! This is one of my favorite souvenir stores in San Francisco. There's always something affordable. Shot glasses for 99 cents, adult tees for $2.99-$10 (I got a women's shirt on clearance for $2.99! Omg, I couldn't believe it. It's a really cute shirt with butterfly's and it says "San Francisco". It was available in all sizes & in 3 different colors, plus an arrangement of other styles on clearance). Buddha figurines for $1.99 (I think that's a great price, and I think it may be the same price in Chinatown). Mugs starting at $1.99. Magnets starting at $2. And a few random things for great prices. There's 2 "Only in San Francisco" locations. One once you walk into Pier 39, and one upstairs. Till now, I'm in shock of the items and prices there. I'm definitely coming back. read more

Generally, this kind of stuff is cheaply made, so I don't like spending a ton of money. The store had a huge selection of products. We're really into getting coffee cups from places we visit and they had rows of cups to choose from. This is a great place for a tourist.
