i bought a glock 47 and two extra magazines from this business. after getting home there was an issue with one of the new magazines that i purchased. i went back to the store to swap it out for a new one. they said glock put a generation three magazine in a generation five magazine package. they said its glocks problem and not thiers. i spent alot of money at this store and they dont stand behind what they sell. i will never buy anything from them again in fear of them saying and i quote "its not our problem, its like buying a car the manufacturer will fix it". buyers beware. read more

Immediately said "oh we don't want this we have so many." Seemed annoyed with me for whatever reason. I was so confused. Won't be back lol Edit: I rarely review. I'm a business owner. Service isn't the greatest as no one attended to me after waiting around for awhile. Though they have a big selection they're way overpriced and taking advantage of you. When I interacted with the people in the front they're rude and think they know everything. Also, FFL transfer fee is crazy high if my memory serves me right it was $50 per transfer which is really high other places charge half that. Stay away! read more

I recently purchased two Nighthawk pistols there. I have been to gun stores all over this country and some super sketchy souks overseas. I have never been to a more comfortable and friendly gun store. Honestly, they were all so respectful, smart, informed and generous with their time. I have been to fancier places, I have been to bigger places but I have never been to a gun-store with such a great selection, great staff and well stocked with top accessories. Nothing is more frustrating than buying an expensive firearm and you need some bits and bobs for it and all they have is junk. "Only the Best" has great accessories and a wide variety. The entirety of that store tells me they have a great buyer, staff and system that pays attention to the customer. They know what they are doing. The ONLY bad thing is I can tell I am going to spend a lot of money there and put a lot of miles driving up there from Coral Gables. Gunfighters type of place. Not welcoming to armed citizens and self defenders. Gave it a chance a few times, purchased stuff .... Place was empty most of the time. Kinda dark and dingy. Nobody smiles. One of those places you have to buzz to get in, then nobody is there and eventually somebody walks out from the back corner. There are much nicer places that are better managed and nearby. Although some of the historical pieces on display are interesting to pass time while you wait. read more

This establishment is the personification of five stars. I was very impressed with the massive inventory and the assistance from Trey the moment I walked in. Trey & his entire staff treated me like family and answered all 30 of my firearm questions. Moving forward this will be the only firearm location in FL that I do business with. Aside from Trey giving me a surgical breakdown of the Colt 6933 (M4 Carbine) and a suppressor attachment (for my Glock 19), I was also given a variety of payment options to to make my purchase. I can honestly say that the overall inventory was more diverse here than most military armories I've seen in 8 years. Every accessory (scopes, extended magazines, pouches, insignias, PPE, etc) is on fully display and readily available. The prices are reasonable based on the fact that many items you see in store are either sold out online or unavailable due to Covid 19. As a USC grad student & as a Navy veteran, I definitely understand the value of investing in yourself. This location makes me proud to be an American and an advocate of the 2nd amendment. I have lived in the area for over 20 years and used this shop often. Sales and occasional gunsmithing. If they don't have it - you probably don't need it. There is no way I can place a number on the times that I have interacted with this business. I brought my six year old with me one day, over a decade ago, and the staff was incredibly warm to him. It was more like having uncles interact with him than customer service. He has grown up to be a talented shooter, and having this shop behind us was helpful. There is an impressive display and plenty more in the back. If you are interesting getting into these (expensive) guns, you can examine different ones and ask questions. The prices are typical of gun stores. You can beat the price on the net, but have to pay shipping. So the price works out to be similar. I'm not affiliated with the shop or any of their employee's but when someone consistently goes above and beyond to earn/keep your business, I think it should be acknowledged. Exceptional Customer Service & Professionalism: I spoke with the store soon after they opened today to make sure the items were available to purchase (firearm, ammo). Took cues from the gentleman I spoke to as I was on a time constraint today and was hoping to be in and out there asap, I'm ultimately glad I followed through with his advice. Everyone lifted their heads, despite all busy to be cordial and say good morning as I entered the store. The people who helped me facilitate the purchase, conducted my background check, made commensurate recommendations of products that made sense and I bought as well. And no up / over selling, just bare bones, targeted needs being met. The store was clean and organized, and the service I received, as well as the cost of the quality items I purchased compared to other private, local stores and online pricing left me elated. As a consumer I don't have an expectation to walk into someone's business and beyond fairness and honesty feel I need to be fulfilled, especially during a damn pandemic, and as highly regulated as firearms are. Their industry is saturated, and at the same time based on the time we live in - so many predator types trying to turn a quick buck with shortages of weapons, ammo, accessories, etc. Not these folks. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY FROM OTBF!! I'd like to start off by saying I typically never leave a review for dealers whether I have a good or bad experience. But my recent transaction with OTBF went so poorly I feel all buyers should be aware of what could happen to them after a purchase. In late October of 2022 I purchased a B&T firearm from OTBF and took advantage of their 60 day layaway program they offer. I made (3) separate payments via postal money orders and attached a note stating exactly what the payment was for (B&T SPC9 PDW with threaded barrel). Communication between the dealer and myself was not an issue during this time. They would confirm once the payment was received and adjust the remaining balance upon my request. Once I sent out the last payment in late December I contacted my FFL to forward their paperwork to OTBF to complete the firearm transaction. Once OTBF received all the proper paperwork they shipped the firearm out to my FFL. Within 3 days the firearm was at my FFL for me to take ownership. Now here's where everything with OTBF went horribly wrong. As I was inspecting the firearm at my FFL prior to them completing the transfer I noticed it wasn't the correct configuration of the B&T firearm that I paid for. I then immediately informed my FFL to stop the transfer due to OTBF shipping the wrong firearm. Lucky my FFL didn't have any issues with holding on to the firearm until I contacted OTBF to figure out what happen. My main concern now was after spending over $2000.00 for this firearm how was OTBF going to handle this issue. Unfortunately for me I would find out within 1 minute of speaking with Chris Cesany on the phone that once OTBF received my last payment all the their customer service went out the window. Chris informed me they sold the weapon I paid for and they were not able to reorder a new SPC9 because B&T no longer offered the configuration I paid for. At this point I was aggravated but Chris then informed me he could swap out an upper off another new SPC9 he had in stock that had the correct configuration I originally ordered. I agreed I would be fine with that as long as it was new. Chris then stated I needed to ship out the wrong upper and once he received it he would sent out the correct upper back to me. At that point I questioned Chris why I would have to pay out of pocket for a mistake the was caused by OTBF. Chris's response was "That's the best I can do or we can refund your money". Unfortunately I wanted the firearm that I waited 2 months for more than I wanted the refund. But I still wasn't satisfied with his answer. So I asked to speak with the owner hoping to see if he would be more understanding. Unfortunately speaking with Vito Servideo didn't change anything. He stated since he sold the firearm barely over cost that I would have to eat the return shipping because solely on principal he can not lose money on a firearm. I tried to explain to him that my FFL is 80 minutes round trip away from me and I would have to drive up there 3 times to completed this transaction if I had send out the wrong upper that OTBF sent me. Again Vito stated he wouldn't pay to ship the wrong upper back solely on principal that he could not lose money on a firearm. Unfortunately I was stuck in a hard spot. I didn't want to pay the return shipping but I couldn't find another SPC9 in the configuration I originally ordered. So I agreed to pay the shipping back to OTBF ($66.36) and drive up to my FFL (3) different times (total of 3 hrs driving). Once I received the new upper I noticed there was no paperwork with it. I contacted OTBF and requested a new receipt with the correct serial number (B&T SPC9 serial number is on the upper). I was told they could not give me a new receipt because it would be a phony receipt. I then stated "what I have now is a phony receipt because it doesn't match the serial number on the new upper I received. I was then told to cross out the serial on the receipt and write the new one in. I will never recommend or purchase anything from OTBF again! read more

Go meet Phil. He is amazing! These guys stock up HEAVILY on custom 1911s that you can only otherwise find used or ones that you would have to special order new with many months of wait time. From Ed Brown, to Les Baer, to Nighthawk, to Wilson Combat, to Dan Wesson - these guys have it all! There's something special about being able to see all of these brands in one place, all brand new, and each having their many different models and features. I walked into their shop with a very humble approach, making it clear to them that I was a novice looking to learn just as much as I was wanting to make a well informed purchase for something that I would keep for my long-term journey of gun ownership. Phil seemed to really appreciate my open honesty and welcomed my visit. He walked me through their insane collection of 1911s. He explained why someone pays $200-$300 for a gun vs $1200-$2000 vs $3000-$6000. I explained to him what things were important to me and what things that were not; and he guided me to a pistol that I am extremely happy with. Phil did not pressure me at all into a decision. He actually steered me away from certain companies that were more expensive that he truly felt like I wasn't quite going to find the value in for this purchase. He said that I should look into those boutique brands later on after having been a 1911 owner for a longer period of time first. Phil even recommended that I show up again later in the week after I had a chance to think things over and do more research online. I turned down his suggestion because I wanted to make a decision before leaving that day. Again, no pressure from Phil. He could tell that I wanted to learn as much as I could about the pistol. Phil warned me not to get too excited and field strip it or anything when I got home. He said to put in 600-1000 rounds first to break in the springs and to bring it back in to the shop, and he'll teach me about it. I will admit, I paid a little more for my new gun than I see it online for... But I'm ok with paying a bit extra for the chance to touch and feel other brands, have someone consult me with so much care, be able to walk out same-day with my purchase, and gain the rapport with someone I can trust for future purchases. Not to mention, Phil's special offer to go 1-on-1 with me later on to teach me more about my new 1911. What I did learn from this shopping experience is to make sure you do you research on prices before heading into this shop to make a final decision. Based on other reviews that I've read, it seems like you need to give them a fair chance at negotiating a good deal. **THEY ARE WILLING TO NEGOTIATE** Seems like people are put off by their high MSRP list-pricing. As long as they are willing to negotiate, then there is no problem with that. I just wish I knew that before making my purchase. I paid the premium for not doing my research. I would otherwise reduce my rating to 3-4 stars... but I'll consider the "premium" I paid to be the price of Phil's expertise and consultative selling approach with me. And I'll use this bit of information to make sure he gives me a really good deal next time around. read more
