The shellac started peeling on three nails after 1.5 weeks. I had a shellac done in downtown Vancouver for 2/3 of the price that neatly lasted 3 weeks. Giving it a 3 because the service and atmosphere was great but not the nail job.

Though I don't dye my hair and it started out extremely healthy, so of course he's seen more damaged hair! I never claimed to have the most damaged hair in the city, just that my hair is now damaged. Would never go back, nor recommend. Awful experience, especially how flip the owner was when I told him my concerns. Edited to add the owner's response is patently untrue. I absolutely asked about my hair colour not changing prior to the appointment because I know keratin changes natural hair colour and wanted to ensure this wouldn't happen with the hair botox, (he was there when I went in for the treatment and to suggest otherwise is a lie), and even post-trim my hair remains damaged, a different colour, and notably, this expensive treatment didn't work. As for the photos, he took them without my consent when I went into talk to him about how upset I was about my hair. Their prices are not only reasonable, they're fair, and I am always thrilled with the end result. The staff is professional and knowledgeable but not pushy when it comes to sales. The spa is super clean and smells lovely. Its a great addition to this rapidly changing neighborhood. When I'm in town, I always pop by for a visit or for some products, many of which are hard to find all in one place (particularly in Toronto).
