I usually stopped 2-3 times a year. Changed ownership once or twice I believe. Today my wife decided to stop for breakfast. The menus were gummy, the table not cleaned. My wife ordered the regular breakfast with toast but no butter. I ordered the same but no potatoes and burnt rye bread. (I like my toast crunchy) My wife's toast were buttered, I had potatoes on my plate (doesn't seem like a big deal but I can't eat potatoes and it's a weakness of mine) and toast barely brown. I asked if she could get me burnt toast and her reply was: "We have a regular toaster so it's gonna take a while" Ya, 6 minutes is not a while. Apparently he had to put the toaster down 4-5 times. (My regular toaster would set the smoke detectors off at max down once). Comes back and they were perfect but made no apologies or bring me new eggs to replace the cold ones. The men's washroom was disgusting. Cleaned monthly or bi-montly max I suspect. Pubic hair on the urinals.......don't want to look in the stalls...I can just imagine. After we're done I got to the cash and the waitress inserts amount in the machine and leaves. I wasn't going to tip her but 5% gives out the same message. The funny thing is they were not busy at all. Buy a new toaster and get a waitress who cares a wee bit.

I visit this Petro-Canada gas station more than any others in the city for a few reasons…read more Probably the main reasons I gas up here is because it's on my route to and from work and I collect Petro Points. The pumps are also well lit and are set up for pay-at-the-pump which is nice. Some of members of the staff are less than cordial but I usually pay at the pump anyway. The store has lots of snacks and other emergency items as well. The station parking area/pumps are easy to access from the road also. This station also seems to be a bit cheaper than most other gas stations in town which is a bit surprising nice it's easy-on easy-off from Highway 401. If you're travelling on 401 and find yourself low on fuel, stop at exit 789 and fill up here. Open 24 hours.

I had thought about filling up at the Canadian Tire gas bar at the rest stop. However, all the pumps were taken. I simply drove off. I noticed a sign for this Petro-Canada. Perfect! I did a quick detour to fill up. This station is huge. It has Petro-Pass pumps and regular pumps. Pick your poison! I had no problems finding a free gas pump and filling up. I paid at the pump. Easy peasy! This station has a Hero Certified Burgers. It was sadly not open when I had rolled in at roughly 8:30 pm. However, there is a huge convenience store to take care of your munchies and more. This Petro-Canada is clean and bright. The signs were easy to follow to get in and out of the place. (240)
