Stopped here on our road trip to Montreal to use the bathroom grab something to drink and eat. It's a cute little rest stop. It has a Tim Hortons and a little shop so we were able to grab some drinks a bag of candy and a bagel from Tim Hortons. The bathroom bathrooms were really clean. The restaurant looks clean as well and they're seating area had a lot of nice tables and chair chairs. It was also very clean. Everything you need from a rest stop! read more

ONroute Morrisburg is convenient spot for a pit stop. Tim Hortons, Burger King, wifi and washrooms. Ordered some fried chicken nuggets at the ONroute Morrisburg Burger King for a family snack to fuel up but something was wrong with the nuggets. Their taste was wrong. The whole batch was spoiled from being made with rancid, overused or overheated frying oil. This happens in two cases. When restaurants save and re-save their old frying oils, and reuse the cooking oils, it causes the oil to change taste become rancid, the taste changes and it creating nasty byproducts not good for your health. It can also happen if the oil is heated to high temperatures above 190 degrees Celsius, so cooks have to watch out for frying temperatures that are too high otherwise it will burn the oils and the foods being cooked in those oils. When Burger King used the rancid, spoiled oil to fry the nuggets, it left a horrible taste. Next time we'll opt for Tim Hortons. read more

Burger King was closed when I went, another reviewer had a bad experience here, and it doesn't seem that Canadian BKs have items different than US ones. So of course I went for Tim Hortons. Selection is much better than the two in NJ near me. Baileys coffee was a noce option but taste was lackluster- like attempted gentrified flavor that just didn't quite have the flavor it needed. Roast beef with onion and cheddar was on par for a convenience place. Delicious to eat but I could tell something was missing in the quality, but it was still fine to eat and not horrible tasting. I have never stopped at Morrisburg until yesterday. I typically hit Mallorytown, which is roughly 77 km westbound. The key is to time when your bladder needs attending to. I did well. However, a minivan between the two towns did not. They were all guys, pulling off to the side and doing their business in greenery. It's easy being a guy in this case. It's not the same as a gal! Anyway, I pulled over at Morrisburg. I got a prime spot and went in. This rest stop is smaller than most, but is great. There aren't as many stalls in the women's washroom, but it's not all that busy here, either. It was clean and efficient. The market wasn't open. I had either Tim Hortons or Burger King. I wanted something small, and went with the former. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese English muffin combo, with a hashbrown and steeped tea. The woman was nice and I got my food quickly. The food wasn't the best. It was barely passable. The hashbrown was on the soggy side. I didn't need to chew, which is great for either lazy folks or those who have dentures. The egg in the English muffin was gross. If you want a custard, get it. I didn't and wanted a firmer egg. My black stepped tea was the best. Luckily, that didn't get messed up! It was nice talking a bit of a break from driving. There was plenty of parking. If you have time, sit in a massage chair and unwind. Or, call someone on a payphone. You get it all here! If you need a rest stop and a bite to eat this is the place to go. These stations are great and right off the freeway. They have a Tim Horton's and a Burger King inside and there are lots of bathroom stalls and a huge parking lot. There is also a little store inside. read more

IVY EV CHARGERS ALL BROKEN. Great stop, too bad our car didn't charge at all. Wasted 20 minutes of a stop.

As far as rest areas go, this ONroute is great. When I compare them to rest stops in New York State, they are smaller by far, but clean and efficient. I was happy for an easily accessible and well marked location for a bathroom break and refueling point. I'm not sure how heavy the traffic can be (traveling in winter is significantly lighter I'm sure) but there was plenty of seating and Tim Horton's never disappoints. If you're traveling through Canada, you can count on ONroutes to be there for you on your way. read more

This review is for the Tim Horton while we stopped at this OnRoute. Where as the OnRoute itself offered a good place to rest with clean washrooms and plenty of seating and parking. This is very typical of an Ontario Province rest stop. It was at this OnRoute Morrisburg on the 401 that we ordered from the ever present Tim Hortons (4ONTHS20). This chain of sweets is practically everywhere like a 7/11 or an ABC store in Hawaii. We were more curious then hungry and so we ordered a cheese panini sandwich, a turkey club and potatoe wedges. A nice young lady named Sarah helped us out and got our orders straightened out. I'm still not sure about the 0.89 upcharge for Water. Live and learn I always say. The sandwiches were great and hit the spot and the potato wedges were easy on the palate. We left the OnRoute happy that we snacked at Tim Hortons. read more

Nice little spot to rest before getting back on the road. There's free wifi, Burger King and Tim Hortons for food and a market for snacks on the go. Clean bathrooms and lots of places to sit and eat. read more
