A small shop with a lot of soul since 1993. Both Kathy and Greg are true Mainers, meaning, they're rooted in their community, have that hard-working and independent spirit and in moments, are ready to share their world with you. I really appreciated that Greg allowed me to watch him work and ask all my inquisitive questions. And all the while Kathy was in the office managing the task of scheduling customers for their shot at having their windows repaired! WOW! Some busy! Thank You Greg and Kathy! A rock hit my windshield while I was driving north on 295 (and, no, I wasn't anywhere close to the…read morecar in front of me) and left a heck of a ding. I called my insurance, they asked me some questions about the general look of it and its size, then decided to send me to Safelite in Riverton for a patch job. I was asked if I wanted to go in person or have a mobile appointment (I didn't realize until after the fact that they'd COME to ME to fix it! that's cool!). I was able to get an in person appointment immediately, and it took about 45 minutes to get repaired. While the front desk people weren't the friendliest, the technician was! He came out to get me and talk to me about how he repaired it, explained that it wasn't a perfect fix (as in, you can tell a rock hit my windshield but it also kinda looks like some really bad sap got stuck), and to tell me that he couldn't say for sure that I'd pass my next inspection but he did the best he could. This is a nervous five star. YES, my car passed inspection (since the ding is smallish and not within my direct line of sight). BUT, I'm not sure how it'll hold up long term (especially come winter when I have to scrape snow and ice off my car). Supposedly they back their work with a nationwide guarantee on repairs, sooooo I'm sure it'll be fine? For now, thanks guys!

However, over time the silicone must have been a bad batch unbeknownst to the installers, and we noticed a few weeks ago the window was loose. We called the company up and spoke with Jessica and she made sure to have her crew come right out and assess the situation. Within a couple days they were right back out to pull the window and make the repairs. I asked what the cost would be, beings it had been a few years, but she said "oh no, no!
