After reading the reviews on Adams Auto Glass in Portland, I decided to roll the dice and make the hour and fifteen minutes drive to Warren Avenue. WOW! What a great find! A small shop with a lot of soul since 1993. Both Kathy and Greg are true Mainers, meaning, they're rooted in their community, have that hard-working and independent spirit and in moments, are ready to share their world with you. I really appreciated that Greg allowed me to watch him work and ask all my inquisitive questions. And all the while Kathy was in the office managing the task of scheduling customers for their shot at having their windows repaired! WOW! Some busy! Thank You Greg and Kathy! This place may be one of the best kept secrets around! I needed to get my windshield replaced, and the big firms were too booked to get me in for weeks. Adams Auto Glass got me in a a couple of days! The staff was super friendly, and I love supporting family small businesses. Pricing was also 30% percent less than Portland Glass or Safelite Auto. I was referred to Adams Auto Glass by Morong Falmouth. My VW passenger side mirror was coming loose and was flapping in the wind as I drove. I called today and they said I could come in that morning and fixed it in five minutes at no cost. I asked if I could watch them fix it as they used adhesive to put it back on the plate.
