This would have been a five-star review if it was strictly for Onslow County Motors. I purchased my Jeep Wrangler a couple of weeks ago, and love it. Working with OCM, and with Gary, was great. The price was fair, the trade in for my old vehicle was more than fair. I would highly recommend them. That said, when you make your purchase, pay cash or arrange your own financing. I was under the impression OCM had in-house financing; they do not. The financing goes through a sleazy, sketchy, dishonest outfit called Lendmark Finance. This is a cheap, storefront "payday loan" company. These people lied to me left and right. The application was done on a "docu-sign" program where you click to sign. I was told I would get hard copies, but those only came by email later. On one screen, the woman said, "This is so you can pay online." When I looked at the hard copies later, I realized what I had "signed" for was some worthless Autoplus service that cost $600! And somewhere along the way, I evidently "signed" for Involuntary Unemployment Insurance. I would definitely not have knowingly purchased this because most of my income is from retirement, not current employment. Page after page, lie after lie! If, for whatever reason, you must deal with Lendmark, DO NOT USE THE DOCU-SIGN PROCESS!! Insist on paper copies, sign only the paper copies, and read EVERY SINGLE WORD of what you are signing! As I said, I loved working with OCM. But, unfortunately, we are often known by the company we keep. And Onslow County Motors, in Lendmark Finance, you are running with some very, very sleazy company. read more

I was in a bind and needed a vehicle to fit all my kids asap at the very end of Dec 2019. I ended up getting a 2011 Town & Country. Mind you, who I dealt with was nice as ever. However, last WK I need my brake pads changed and when I looked for the wheel lock key, there wasn't one of be found at all. I called the office and they directed me to go to Silance Tires as I did. Of course I don't think I should have had to pay to get wheel locks off considering I was told that these were new tires and most put key in glovebox, center console or with spare... Nope, it only cost me $20 bucks, but that's besides the point. I have 5 children and what if I would have broke down somewhere and not be able to change my tire?! And stranded on the road...I would have had to pay towing fees and prob fees for my car to sit at a shop to get locks off. On another hand, a few days after purchasing, my engine light would go on because the push start wouldn't work nor would the key. Thought it was starter so took it back and was an engine misfire. Dealt with that for a month then contacted them again. The had my van and said they took it to National Dodge and apparently there is a recall on it that needed done. I looked up said recall and there are ZERO recalls. It's now July, I have the SAME issue with it. It's still apparently under warranty so going back to National Dodge.. I def will not be buying a vehicle from here again. So ready to get rid of this vehicle. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. They are unprofessional, unethical, and sell junk cars that look nice on the surface but are loaded with issues underneath. I bought a 2008 Chevy Equinox from them in July 2019 after working my butt off while in college to save for a car, and I have had absolutely nothing but issues with the car I bought from them. It's gone out of alignment 5 times in 6 months, the struts are essentially dead, and the rear differential has burned out, when this car supposedly was in great condition. Kevin assured me several times prior to purchase that it was a good car, and he wouldn't sell me anything he wouldn't put his own daughter in, only to turn around and call me a scared little girl when I informed him of the issues with my car and tried to get him to let me trade it in for another vehicle (after Ben, who claims to be the owner, promised me I could). I've brought the car into multiple shops for diagnostics, trusted Kevin to do repairs, and have now put into the car repair money that surpasses half of what I originally bought the car for. But guess what? I STILL cannot safely drive my car. Do not purchase vehicles from OCMC, they only seem pleasant to work with when they're trying to sell low quality cars. read more

I went in to look at a 2007 F150 and ended up buying a couple days later. The engine ended up seizing a week later. However they came and picked it up and took care of everything. Now I have a brand new rebuilt engine in my truck that has another 200k miles on it. Definitely recommend 100% read more
