After talking to few friends I decided to make the switch. So far this year my daughter has been in quite a hurry to get to First Impressions early every day. She tells me about the different activities they do when she comes home. Today, when she returned from a short vacation, the teacher greeted us with a cupcake she had saved specifically for my daughter. Last year, I couldn't really tell if my daughter was happy at daycare. Now I see the difference. Glad to have a safe and nurturing place to drop her off each day.

They were in an in home childcare prior & briefly at the YMCA but Kiddie academy is such a blessing in our lives! From the first day to now they rave about all of the fun activities they do there. I receive ample updates and can tell the teachers REALLY care about my girls. Meals are included making it easier on me as a mom as well. This summer they had many guests come in - zoo animals, a magician, theatre shows, kona ice, scientist, art bus and more. My 2 year old has started talking way more and my 3 year old is now able to write her name and starting to sound out words. My dream was always to homeschool but life had different plans - however I can not stress enough how happy I am that I know they are loved and learning everyday here. Additionally, I love the fact that they go outside often as in previous childcare locations this was so limited. I have toured many of the childcares in the area and I just want to say that this one is truly a gem and I would highly recommend to anyone. The kids here seem happy every time I come in - not just mine but almost all. Daycare is expensive no matter where you send kids but with lunch included this is still cheaper than many neighboring. I have so much good to say and my only complaint- which is not really a complaint- would be the hope to meet other parents more often as my kids go on and on about their friends at school and I wish I could arrange playdates for them at some point.

False allegations were made about me and I have contacted West Valley about them. Was told that they would investigate but had they investigated they would have discovered that the allegations were not true. Zero action was taken against this member. It's also is impossible to actually report anything to the deacons or elders as the head pastor always ends up getting involved and his actions are questionable. I have contacted Bethany about what has been taking place at West Valley and they haven't even been willing to give a response. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these churches, unless you would like to be a part of a church that makes false accusations about their members

My conversations with Mr. Mike & Ms. Christa alone made my choice & they have certainly lived up to my expectations. They have gone above & beyond to help accommodate me & my children in every way imaginable. They are very knowledgeable about how to get involved in services like speech therapy & are never too busy to answer a question. Conversations aren't formal & PC, but friendly and inviting. I often feel guilty about the long hours my children have to spend at the facility b/c of the distance I travel to work. But, the fact that they have so much fun they often aren't ready to leave when I get there, helps ease those feelings. I have been to several daycares & it really doesn't matter how brand-spanking new or state of the art the facility is, if the relationships aren't there. My children leave Almost Home each day hugging their teachers & friends, w/smiles on their faces. That feeling of contentment is the best compliment a parent can give any teacher/facility. They definitely live up to their name.

The teachers are passionate at what they do and care for each child with compassion. My son has learned so much.
