She gets in school and immediately sits on the teachers lap. The other teachers in other rooms also seem to know my daughter as well, including the owner Miss Jill and the director, Miss Sandy, even parents of other children in her room generally know my child and greet her. The place is very clean, very new, with great activity areas for kids including a large indoor gym. They are both very approachable, and from my experience, we can walk in at any time to discuss any thing about my child. The facility is extremely clean, I notice the teachers and staff picking up toys that the children may have mouthed, they wipe down tables, and changing stations constantly. They even have buckets in each room for toys that need to be cleaned, toys that were cleaned, and toys that are drying! The toddler room mini bathroom stalls aside from being cute are exceptionally clean as well. ALL of the staff/teachers are very friendly and knowledgable. They greet everyone coming in which gives the center a positive vibe. The security in the building is amazing. From iPads to check your child in/out, to a special entry security system...we leave feeling that our child is in safe and secure hands. My son loves to play there and in the few months that he has attended, we have noticed that he is learning so much. He comes home singing songs he learned, he talks about animals he's learned about, he talks about his friends and teachers at school, etc. It's proof that he is truly having a fun and educational experience!

We have had our child in before and after school care at ALC- Fogelsville for kindergarten through…read more1st grade, and we are satisfied that the staff care about the kids and keep them safe and keep the place clean and communicate immediately when there is a health concern (such as all childcare centers have to deal with, such as a virus going around, etc). Our child is comfortable being left there and sometimes tells us that we picked him up too early and that we need to come back later, which means that he's happy there. I have used 2 daycares, both thoroughly researched alongside all the other local options, including checking violations on the state website. I have never seen a single daycare without multiple violations, but I check that they are being responsible about them and that none of them are a deal breaker. I highly recommend ALC-Fogelsville. The one thing that I would advise is if you need to communicate about an individual question, you may need to ask in person and then keep track of it yourself in order to get it handled. Please also keep aware that what you communicate to teaching staff may not get to office staff and vice versa, which is a very normal things that come up at child care centers.

They always have time to speak with me or my wife. Funny thing is, I think our son eats better for them than us! I would often say, he ate what snack??? We can never get him to eat. He is so fussy! Infants and toddlers cannot be forced to eat or drink. Hey I'm an old man and you still can't get me to eat tomatoes! The things our son is learning is amazing. He loves to give everyone there a hug and I have never, felt more secure leaving my son with others. FYI- I am not new to this. I have three children in their 20's. The school is safe, nurturing, and educational within developmentally appropriate expectations. The staff at Lightbridge are truly dedicated to providing the best possible care for the children in their care. We've had exceptional teachers throughout the years, however Allison in particular stands out each day. Although their title is education coordinator, it is easily seen that they play any role needed day to day. I've seen her jump in to help pat my child to sleep for naptimes, handle any issues that arise with grace and compassion, greet my children by name each morning, and play silly roles like dressing up on groundhogs day. They truly seem to enjoy their job and make it more than just a job. The facilities at Lightbridge in Allentown are clean, safe, and well-maintained. There are facial recognition cameras to enter the facility, live stream cameras in each classroom for parent viewing, and their own app to keep you updated on day to day tasks. There is also a large outdoor play area where the children can run, play, and explore with two separate playground areas with sprinklers for water play in summers. My husband and I both work in the healthcare field with sometimes long hours. At times, this results in my children being at school more hours than I'd like. In an ideal world, we'd get to have our babies with us 24/7. Since this is not possible, Lightbridge is able to calm my very anxious mom heart, knowing my children love their school, are well cared for, and are thriving.

Miss Jayzel and Miss Allison handled an emergency with our son when he had an allergic reaction so well we were so thankful for their attention to detail and keeping our son safe.
