I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it was…read moreworth sharing. I was trying to schedule a physical therapy evaluation for my daughter. Over the course of about a week, I called 7-8 times, left multiple voicemails, and even submitted an inquiry through the website. I never received a single callback or email response. Eventually, I stopped by the office in person because I couldn't get anyone to respond. When I explained that I had been trying to reach the office for a week, the front desk staff dismissed my concerns and told me I must have had the wrong phone number. To make sure, I called the number right there in the office, and their phone rang. I completely understand if my daughter needed a physician referral to use insurance, that wasn't the issue. The issue was the lack of communication and the way I was treated. Rather than receiving a helpful explanation, I felt dismissed and unwelcome from the moment I walked in. I can't speak to the quality of the physical therapists themselves, but first impressions matter. Unfortunately, the customer service and front office experience were enough for me to choose to take my business elsewhere.

RISE Physical Therapy Encinitas is best!! Absolutely love…read morethe team here!! Diego is an AMAZING physical therapist. The front office staff, Quinn is also super helpful and caring. For my shoulders, this has been the MOST PROGRESS I've experienced from any Physical Therapy clinic I've been to, and I've been to a few locally. Diego has helped relieve a lot of issues with my shoulders. Really appreciate his Hands-On techniques, and the cupping and taping has been helping tremendously! So super grateful to Diego, Quinn and Andrew who started me off. Everyone truly cares about my progress here and it has been a very supportive and healing environment for me! Thank you RISE Encinitas!!!!

I went to see the urologist and she said I had a scar inside my urethra it caused urethral stricture. After two times urethral dilation, it still cant solve the problem and the urethral stricture came back again. So I have to use intermittent catheter at home every other day to empty my bladder. Since beginning of this year, I am tired of doing this and tried to get advice from my urologist. She suggested me to try do the urethral reconstruction. I know this is very rare surgery in women and successful rate is not that high. Before I made that big decision, my husband suggested me to see physical therapy. That's why we met Neil. He is such an experience PT and he listened my problem and helped me with the way he think is helpful. After two times saw him, my situation got improved, and after 8 appointments with him, I felt I can empty my bladder without using intermittent catheter. It was a magic. I haven't seen him almost 3 months so far and I am still doing great. I am super happy with the result and millions of thanks for his help. I highly recommend Neil to anyone with any pain in your body. Thank you Neil!

Christian is a very caring and experienced physical therapist. He is an excellent communicator and very personable. He listens carefully and gives you his full attention. He watched over me as I did every exercise and made gentle adjustments in my form as needed so that I was performing each exercise correctly. I always felt Christian was present with me and paying attention - in every single session! I also watched how he treated other patients in his practice who needed support and he was so gentle, kind, and attentive. The office staff are also very helpful and lovely! He took time to understand my injury (recovering from arthroscopic hip surgery) and the sport I play heavily (table tennis), as well as where I was in the healing process, and used all of that to tailer each session to my specific personal needs. The result was a strong and steady healing process. This has been the best physical therapy regimen I have ever experienced. I strongly recommend Christian Vu as a physical therapist and ReKinected as an organization. Both were excellent.

What makes the best chiropractors? 1- sports chiropractor, 2- investigate the issue(s), 3- they…read moreonly adjust where it is needed given the issue(s) (none of that let's crack the whole back & call it done), 4- Give exercises to compensate for the underlying issues. Dr. Leah Helin fits all these criteria and a lot more. I have seen maybe ~15 chiropractors all together in my life, Dr. Helin is the best chiropractor I have been to. Yes, she is expensive and we visited a couple others before finally landing there. The first hour visit will count as probably about 3 or 4 visits at another chiropractor. She is that smart, targeted and efficient. The whole family goes with great success. The biggest success is that one child that was told by two orthopedic specialists that surgery was needed, completely avoided surgery because Dr. Helin was part of the treatment. A 3-year old pain I had was identified, targeted, given exercises in ~15 minutes; she helped more in those minutes than 12 hours of physiotherapy. The now better targeted exercises keep me improving a lot faster. Go see her, you won't regret it.

Dr. Leah is, by far, the best, and the most honest. I recently went to a guy in Solana Beach because he had a spine stretching machine (Dr. Leah is always booked, also, so I wanted to go to someone right away for my back pain--I'm an impatient person). The guy told me that the only way I'd get better was to come into his office three times per week for 8 weeks, and use his spinal stretching machine. He also told me that I couldn't do anything active except walk on flat ground for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time. I drove home from there, super depressed and discouraged. Well, after sleeping on it, I came to the conclusion that the guy was full of crap. He also wanted to charge me thousands of dollars to do it "his way." He seemed like a nice guy, but please. Dr. Leah not only gives awesome adjustments, but tells me how to cure my bulging discs. She's honest in telling me that nothing can actually revert them back to how I was 35 years ago, but she said I don't have to get worse, I don't have to suffer in pain so much, and I should still be able to surf, run, do yoga, play tennis, all the things I love. I love that she's a sports-minded practitioner too. She has a positive attitude and is super friendly and likable. She's efficient, too. I am writing this because I found her on Yelp and I want to pay it forward. No one should be debilitated from back pain. I cannot thank Dr. Leah enough for all she's done for me. I have so much more hope, and can do the things I love. She's a keeper.

Desperate for relief from the extreme pain in my shoulder, neck and scapula, the referral to Pacific Physical Therapy, by the fantastic Orthopedic physician Dr. Patrick Padilla (same location), was exactly what I needed! Diagnosis was quick, and treatment immediate. I needed HELP, and the AWESOME team of Melissa and Evan, at Pacific Physical Therapy, provided the information and assistance needed, to get me on the road to recovery. I understand it will take hard work and commitment on MY part, if my issues are to continue improving, and I will follow their instructions to a tee! My pain was reduced with Ibuprofen (from Dr. Padilla), and I was able to receive some healing therapy and excellent instruction regarding strengthening exercises, from Melissa and Evan. Melissa and Evan make an outstanding therapy team, at Pacific Physical Therapy! While teaching me how to care for myself, you both made me feel so much better... And your humor helped take the edge off of being in pain. I would also like to thank Gay Lee (sp?), Melissa's substitute Therapist, for her terrific work, on my initial visit. You are ALL outstanding and very caring, which helps tremendously with improving a patient's state of mind, leading to quicker recovery. The Front Desk and support staff at both Dr. Padilla's Office and Pacific Physical Therapy are exemplary! They are ALL efficient, caring and friendly! Thank you, Pacific Physical Therapy, for all your help and for making recovery FUN! This may sound crazy, but please consider including Pet Therapy, as part of your program?! If you had a non-shed, trained Therapy dog on site, to help patient's focus on something other than their pain, it could be quite beneficial. As a Volunteer at Kaiser Permanente, and the Humane Society, in Santa Clara, CA, I made this same recommendation (complete with written procedures), to which they responded with ACTION... Kaiser now has a thriving Pet Therapy Program, which absolutely aides in expedited patient recovery!
