However, the man who runs the restaurant got mad at us for simply using American Express. My husband asked him if he can pay by credit card, he said yes. My husband, put the card in, like the usual and paid. The man noticed after the transaction that it was American Express and he all of a sudden burst out which caught everybody's attention & telling my husband that American Express is not a credit card (what????) and talking to him as if my husband is an idi*t. Im glad my husband kept his cool bcoz his mom was there. It is not our fault that it caused them some fee for getting payment from Amex. He could have specified that they only accept Visa or MC. We came, eat and paid, he even got a tip of course! We are good customer but definitely doesn't deserve the treatment after the payment fiasco.
