Prior to receiving the card it had…read morenever occurred to me to get professional pics of the baby done - but as soon as I got it I immediately thought "this woman is genius." I mean - there were babies and buckets, and then the babies were in the buckets and I melted. So, before even knowing if our little sprout was a boy or a girl - we booked a "newbie" session with Christina. She is so easy to work with. The way the newbie session works is that you book while you're pregnant and then you just give her a little shout out when the stork drops off your bundle. She is such a pro that she arranges her schedule so that she can always fit in the newbie session in that precious first week. She answers email and phone calls promptly and isn't annoyed by excessive question asking. So, I let her know when our baby (a gorgeous little chap) arrived and she responded almost immediately with three options for times that would work. She also made it clear though that if that didn't work for me - she would find a time that did. We settled on a date five days after he was born. Prior to her arriving she let me know where in the house she would want to work (the room with lots of light and warmth). Christina arrived on time and smiling. She brought her entire studio with her - it really was something to see! She had rugs and buckets and hats, oh my! She set up in my little guys room and then gave me the option of either staying and watching or not. I stayed and had SO MUCH FUN picking out little hats and colors of throws that I loved and scarves and this and that. She really does have a wonderful touch with the little ones. He happily let her arrange him in the above-mentioned buckets and dress him in hats, etc. The stuff she was doing with him was so cute I thought I would scream. Also, she was just so easy to talk to. Truly I just enjoyed having her there. The other thing that pleased me about working with Christina is that she consistently delivers everything before promised. Her turn around time isn't even long to begin with - but every time she delivered early. Our proofs, our online gallery, and eventually our prints as well. I love early. The photos that we got are amazing and something that we will treasure forever. Everyone that has received one has commented on just how beautiful they are. I'm learning quickly that the little people grow incredibly fast and I'm so so so thankful that I got that card from Christina and that we made the decision to do these photos. Hands down one of the best things I have EVER done. Ever.

Not only is she an amazing photographer but she makes this intimate experience even more precious with her love for children and upbeat personality. She knows what she's doing and does everything in her power to make mother and child feel comfortable at all times. It was such a pleasure working with someone who is extremely organized and on top of every detail, she makes sure that she captures every image you had in mind and so much more. Her artistic side is not only in bringing all the special materials/props, using light/shadows, planning the layout for a perfect photo but also in the delivery. She makes the most amazing prints, story boards, books with so many details from glass covers to soft leather layers to well basically to you name it. Thank you Christina for capturing our family photos from maternity to toddler sessions! Memories we will have forever :) PS: If you can get my husband Jason to smile, you can do anything...skies the limit!!! haha

We ended up showing up right on time and then proceeded to wait an hour because there was one person running the booth and they were severely backed up. we then proceeded to finally get our turn and we're given only 10 minutes rather than the 15 minute slot time to do our portraits. whenever we went over to Pay, they then told us that they would not give us the correctly cropped ones, and instead you had to pay an extra $100 to receive the "enhanced version" which really just means we crop them correctly. So they were trying to charge us originally $400. She then proceeds to tell us that we can knock down the price if we proceed to purchase a membership, which we bought to knock down the price. Our price is now $200. Then she couldn't figure out how to apply the $70 off the digital album. We spent 30 minutes because they could not figure out the correct pricing and kept trying to up charge us, then their cash machine wouldn't work as well as their card reader. Overall, we ended up paying $190 which was significantly better than the original $400 price but still a total pain in the ass to deal with. Will never come here again.

Appointments mean nothing to these folks. Today we went to have our family pictures done (Saturday morning appointment) only two find the waiting area was standing room only. After 45 minutes we canceled our appointment and left. The time before that the photographer had my wife arrange us for all the photos. When we were finished we had to wait another hour to start choosing our prints, only to have the employee hassle us over a valid coupon. At that point we left without ordering prints only to have the associate follow us through the store yelling at us. We have been going to the JC Penney photo studio in Fayetteville for years, despite the fact that it's an extra 20 miles drive for us, and have never had any of these issues. The folks at the Fayetteville studio are great, but I'll not attempt to do business with the one in Rogers again.

He was quickly responsive through the hiring process, answering questions, and since we were from out of state (having a "destination wedding" in Eureka Springs), was very willing to work around our tight schedule to help get in the "engagement" photos in addition to wedding photos he has as a part of his wedding package. (We're very glad we went through with the engagement photos rather than seeking to reduce the price of the wedding photos so they weren't included.) Mike's a quirky, quiet, artistic type of guy, which I liked about him. He's the type of guy that makes me seem to be an extrovert, even though I'm not. But it's not hard to get him out of his shell: he enjoys his work and wants you to like his photos, so it was very fun to talk about photography and what we like about various things. (We also bonded over local brewery beer, even though he's not as much as a beer snob as we are.) He has a real eye for catching the light and specific shots. I let him know some of the shots I knew my family would have to have, but when possible, I tried to let him make the decisions, because I could tell that my interference would endanger the photos I would get. I was right and I loved our photos. I did have to remind him to follow up, and get us the final product, because I think he's the artsy-forgetful type. But I really enjoyed working with him and loved what I received, which I think was worth far, far more than what we paid for.

She was exceedingly professional when we were scheduling the session, and her 'pre-arrival information was invaluable to set us up for the best success. On the day of the shoot, we arrived at her beautiful studio and she really took care of everything! There were snacks and drinks that we had access to, and she was so careful with our child. After receiving the photos we are just blown away! The quality and tender details captured were just simply amazing! Bottom line: if you are in need of any photos taken, think about Erica!

I was amazed by the atmosphere in which Erica takes pictures in. The lighting, the music, the seating area for my husband to observe from. It was all so peaceful and calm. Erica was so gentle with our week old little girl. She slept practically the whole time; but when she didn't sleep, Erica was patient, loving, and gentle with her as she'd ease her back to sleep. Erica also pays so much attention to all the details. I had just given birth via c-section the weekend before. I honestly felt quite puffy still, and not super confident about what I had brought to wear. However, Erica had a rack of various sized gorgeous dresses available for her clients like me to try on. I was brought to tears a few times by the comfort and peacefulness I felt in her home, in her studio, and in my own body even after a hard c-section recovery. I was brought to tears because of the beauty and peace that surrounded her studio - her gentleness towards my baby, and for her love for what she does. Erica is amazing, and we have been so happy to have her photograph our children.
