I always get acrylic nails with gel polish (which these days is hard to find a nice nail salon that still offers this). The prices are affordable. My nails stay on for 5 weeks without one nail falling off (and I clean a lot). The owner is a pleasure to talk with while your nails are getting done as well. Before the procedure, I filled out a waiver that explained what dermaplaning was and possible side effects, and I appreciated that they were honest about what the procedure entailed. The procedure itself took about 20 minutes (estimate) and just felt like someone scratching my skin a bit. It's hard to explain, but it was never uncomfortable. First your skin is cleansed and a hot towel is applied to soften skin before the procedure. After, I had the choice of a Vitamin C, collagen, or moisturizing sheet mask (I went with collagen), which was left on for about another 20 minutes. Finally, serums and creams were applied. I had brought my own sunscreen, but if you don't have any they will also apply that for you. Overall my experience was great and I would definitely re-book for another dermaplaning appointment!

The massage itself was fabulous. The tables were plush with warm blankets. They started the massage with hot steam and a sugar scrub, which is rare for massages and we definitely appreciated the additional skincare. They then went into a long stroke massage with oil and put a lot of attention to tense areas. Another great part of the massage was the use of hot stones and towels - very relaxing! A feature that I find very unique about Royal Zen's massages is their music choice. The first time my sister and I went it was classic R&B and this time it was smooth jazz.
