My girlfriend was approached by a lady advertising your services at the Camas Days this weekend offering an appointment for $20 to include and xray and an exam and when she went there no xray was done, and adjustment was attempted (w/o doing xrays prior) and her foot felt worse afterwards. went here and my lawyers had told them I was covered for care up to $5k. They kept giving me care without communicating any cost to me or my lawyers and my end bill was about $8k. I asked them about it and why I had to pay it since they weren't talking to me about it at all and just overcharged me with no explanation. She said it was because they didn't want to stop my care halfway through, and when I told my lawyer she told me that they explicitly said in their letter to just communicate with us if I needed more care and they didn't try even once. I asked Mrs. Opdahl why I was responsible for paying the amount over the $5k if it was their fault and me and my lawyers weren't communicated with. She told me she would write off the amount over $5k and then requested that I removed a google review I had made about it. I also has seen the regenerative medicine doctor there and he had taken my blood and moved the needle in my arm and hit a nerve and I had to be in a sling for a month. read more

I will not go anywhere else! My neighbor recommended this chiro, I gave it a try and haven't left and won't! Dr Gambee is such a great doctor (and I hear the others are as well). They really care about their patients here and this is the first place I've had an X-ray done, had a treatment plan set up (with week by week visuals of progress on a board so you clearly understand the process) and traction (machines that help you get your body back in alignment and order!!). I have seen Dr Williams for the past couple months and have only good things to say about his care and treatment plan. I am wrapping up my treatment here for an injury and I am thoroughly impressed that he was able to take my pain away with adjustments and traction. I seen Dr Opdahl for one visit early on in my care and I will never see him again. In less than 15 minutes he managed to insult me for being a stay at home mom and insult me for not going to college. His adjustments were rough and he didn't seem to take the time to make sure everything felt okay during and after adjustments. I dont recommend seeing him personally but I do recommend checking out the other doctors at the clinic. read more

Amazing chiros. I felt so good after just 3 visits, I was excited to stay on. It was then that I was hit with a huge bill for treatment. I don't do well with ambushing, I needed to think about it. The moment I expressed concern with the treatment plan, the chiro's attitude changed towards me. He was not longer interested in treating me. When I went home, thought it over, and reviewed the chiro's notes, I realized that the treatment was not for the initial problem that I came in with. They wanted me to pay a huge amount of money, and not treat the problem I came in with. This clinic expects you to just have $125 to give them up front. This is never expressed to you over the phone prior to your appointment. You will be reassured that after treatment you can cash out your account or apply it as a balance forward. When I went to the office manager about my concerns about the bait and switch with my treatment plan, she agreed to cash out my account and investigate. 2 weeks went by with no reimbursement. I called to check on when they would be sending it out. When they heard my name, they refused to let me speak with the office manager and reassured me that the check was sent out "weeks ago" and that if I didn't get it in 3 days, to call so they can send out a new one. Sure enough, 3 days later I get a check for the wrong amount. Less than when I left the clinic months ago. I'd fight it but why? If you love amazing chiros that will make you feel amazing, but just want all your money, this is the place for you. read more

I love the team at Opdahl! I've been in three car accidents in the past decade, and I've seen several other chiropractors for pain treatment. I've always ended up discontinuing service because it devolves into a never-ending repeat of the same treatments with little progress after the first few weeks. One of my old injuries flaired up, so I took to Yelp to find a more local chiropractor than the one I had most recently seen. The reviews for Opdahl were promising, so I booked an appointment. I'm so glad I did! Dr. Gambee was patient, attentive, and explained everything that was going on. My second appointment included a full review of my treatment plan. What?!? Sharing the full scope of the plan with the patient and asking their input on the treatment plan?? One of the recommendations was adjustments traction, which is a completely new experience for me. I'm surprised more chiropractic offices don't use it. I can literally feel the issues correcting with each treatment. Plus the tech, Angie, is quickly becoming one of my most favorite people ever. In addition to thorough treatment that is focused on actually correcting issues, the staff is A. MAZ. ING. Everyone is so friendly and kind and fun. Even though I have insurance that would allow me cheaper to go to another chiropractor, I would rather go to Opdahl instead. Had a great first (ever) chiropractor appointment here! I was surprised at how lively the place was. The staff was extremely nice and the Dr. was professional. I liked how he wasn't typing away on a keyboard while I spoke to him. He listened and talked to me! While I was sitting and filling out my paperwork, there were a few people coming in. At least 2 people were greeted by the staff by name. It was clear they took the time to get to know patients and remember them for repeat appointments. Last spring I woke up one day unable to stand. I'll spare you many details, but after several visits to my primary care physician (he laughed at my insistence that it was a spinal leak) a visit to the ER and two weeks of agonizing pain, the symptoms shifted from crippling pain only upon standing to a constant crushing pain and inability to turn my head, lean over or even sit long enough to drive my kids the 3 miles to school. Another visit to the primary and an urgent care gave me nothing except a 3 month wait for a neurologist. One day a friend suggested I try a chiropractor. I hadn't thought of that, so I jumped on google and searched for the best and most reviewed office. Dr. Opdahl's office was the top one and holy crap, I can see why. I met with Dr. Singleton, and we went through an in depth look at my symptoms, he took X Rays and walked me through them, cracked me in a couple places, went over how chiropractic works, the healing process and set me up for 4 more visits within 5 days. Holy crap, after those 4 visits I could manage the pain, I could be a mom again. We found a schedule that worked and they worked with me on a payment plan (my insurance doesn't cover chiro) and after a couple months I was barely bothered by the two bad discs. I occasionally go in for an adjustment now but it's very rare. Which almost makes me sad, I LOVE the staff. I have two littles and Sunshine and Paula were very good at toting them around while I did traction (Angie, the traction queen, is fierce and very good at her job). Everyone there is fun, energetic and sincere. These guys are very good at what they do. (Side note, the neurologist confirmed it had been a spontaneous spinal leak.) read more

Monday was the first time in probably 10 years I played basketball without pain. The staff is amazing. Every time I walk in the door the staff is always happy to see me. I've never waited more than a few minutes for my appointments. Dr Johnson is great at explaining everything to me so I know how and why he is doing what he is doing. I've known Dr. Opdahl for many years and knew he was a chiropractor. I thought that chiropractors were only good for back problems. I had a shoulder pain that I had doctors tell me that I needed surgery for, but with one treatment from Dr. Opdahl I went from 40% movement to like 85-90% and after a couple more treatments I was back at 100%. I severely injured my neck while wrestling and immediately went to a regular Dr. who didn't take X-ray's, gave me no muscle relaxers or pain pills and only had me go see physical therapy. After several months my neck was still very stiff and sore and I had a constant headache. I heard about Dr. Opdahl from a friend who got relief after getting whiplash from a car accident. Dr. Opdahl and his staff were so very helpful and friendly. Dr. Opdahl examined me and then took X-ray's! Dr. Opdahl clearly explained all that was wrong with my neck, how he would help me and how long it may take to feel better. He did an adjustment that day that helped it feel better. After three visits my neck was feeling much better. It was at this time he started me in traction for a few minutes on two days a week and in two weeks my headaches went away and I nearly had full range of motion again. Over several weeks he increased the weight and time of traction to continue to strengthen the muscles of my neck and to get my neck properly realigned. I went in for a back adjustment. 4 adjustments later, I was told it would take 10 more weeks of adjustments / traction to heal. My back was out and it was put back in place. I'd love to find an office that adjusts you when you need one, but doesn't pressure you to come in constantly. I won't be going back. read more

Fantastic Chiropractor. I have been to several chiropractors over the years in the various states I have lived in. None of them ever did anything but adjust my back for the pain I was in at the moment. None of them took an x-ray before adjusting. Then I found Dr. Opdahl. He is my miracle worker. The first time I saw him he asked "Do you just want the immediate pain relief or do you want me to fix your problem." I said, "fix it" and he did!!! He straightened my spine completely in 6 months and I had a twisted s curve in it the first time I saw him. It blew my mind to see my follow up xrays and have my back completely straight in them. I knew by the way I was walking and the way I was holding my head that he had made great improvements to my back but I never expected anything like this. That was almost 5 years ago and I am still doing great. I do still go in regularly for adjustments so my muscles don't forget where they are supposed to be and when my back is hurting (because I've done something stupid that I knew I shouldn't be doing when I did it) It has been the best money I have spent on any type of medical help I've ever had. Totally worth it. And the office staff are wonderful, friendly, have a sense of humor (not something I usually find in medical receptionists) and always willling to help you or accommodate your schedule. His is a very busy practice but there is always time to fit in his patients when they are hurting. I have called many times and had them say just come on in or we have an opening in a couple of hours. Never ever have I had to wait to even the next day when I hurt.
