It takes some time and searching but I've found awesome items. I bought my daughter's Christmas gift here. She's is all things mid-century modern and I found a new condition, orange mid-mod lamp. Many times I drop off donations in the back and then into the front to shop. I never walk out without a purchase. Some of my favorite clothes are from Open Doors. The ladies are nice and always gratefully take my donation of plastic shopping bags. This shop is my favorite addiction! read more

Good prices and friendly staff! Not a huge selection of clothing but I found great stuff with the selection they had. Also had nice furniture. I'd support this place ANY DAY over some of the bigger thrift chains in Mobile. This place is CLEAN! Love it and I'll be coming here from now on! read more

Wow! My new favorite thrift store. The books were so well organized! The whole store was clean and organized. The staff was kind. The prices were great which is what makes thrifting fun. I agree with the reviewer on honoring specials. They will up charge on clothing when they can. Counting items like cardigan sweaters as a blazer, or a blazer a a jacket. Just to get an extra buck or two. Also, if something is marked a price they might stop the line to look up the going value online. I was told they didn't have to sell it for the price THEY marked it at. They are pretty greedy on items they deem as higher value even if it's not. read more

Great deals, well organized, the whole gamut from a whole bag for a dollar to true antiques.

A decent thrift shop with a lot of stuff. Proceeds go to Mobile area missions, so it's a great local place to support. The people who work here are great and very helpful. There are cool finds inside if you're willing to look around a bit. They had clothes, electronics, housewares, and furniture. read more

The women who work here are seniors citizens who are beyond rude. The items are over priced and they do not honor the "specials" they have listed on the sign they have as you walk in the door. You're much better off going to the flea market, Waterfront, or Goodwill. read more

They are not open on Saturdays so I need to find another place to leave my treasures I no longer need.

This is abolutely the best thrift shop in Mobile. They offer lots of lovely items at a very reasonable price and if you see something you might want to buy you had better get it because it will not be there when you return. The staff are all volunteers are so friendly and helpful. My husband enjoys the back room which has lots of items that men love. read more
