Once you know where it is, though, street parking is easy to find, and it's a small, welcoming shop inside. Bowls of crystals are arranged by color, with shelves of books, and they offer some spiritual services as well. Staff is extremely friendly, and prices are fair. I am not a crystal girl but my aunt is. She took me there and wow, it is absolutely gorgeous. The crystals are set up according to color and they have little cards informing you of the crystals name, its properties, and its chakra (I'm not sure if I phrased that correctly). The woman working was so sweet and helpful, I asked about a million questions and she was more than happy to answer each one. My aunt got me two crystals: one amathyst bracelet and a small selenite. I'm not a super spiritual person but I could actually feel the energy of the crystals and it really calms me when I hold them. You absolutely must go here even if you aren't a crystal person because it's gorgeous and you will 1000% benefit from going. read more

She then told me to contact Wax&Wane and they would resize it. Well, according to their website, they will not. They are not local, they are near Los Feliz so no thank you. The bottle definitely smells awesome, and I've been using it since I got it from here. I've received plenty of compliments from this fragrance and the Rose Water I got from 'Glitter Moon,' Los Angeles, CA. I didn't know there existed so many crystal shops in Los Angeles, CA., until this year when I started exploring them in 2024. They were going through some shop construction, so they weren't offering any classes at the time I visited. New age crystal shops seem to be popping over everywhere in LA, much to my delight. But not all crystal shops are created equal. Open Eye is an intimately set shop but always has a friendly face to show you around and find the perfect crystal for you. They're reasonably priced as well! The owner clearly takes so much delight and passion in what she does, but she's not pushy and doesn't make you feel intimidated at all. If you know a thing or two about crystals you're gonna have a lot of fun nerding out with the owner. She was also kind enough to find me the perfect little black tourmaline piece I needed to make protection spell jars. The black tourmaline had fragments of iron in it, absolutely stunning. She really knows how to pick her crystals! They are ethically gathered which makes me enjoy even more all the unique colors and textures of the crystals she carries. They might encourage you to take a seat on the uniquely awesome crystal-sampling chair, for you to make sure that you are vibing well with your crystal energy before you buy it! They also host monthly wine and meditation nights for the full moon; I have yet to try it but I'm looking forward to one day! This place is definitely worth a scoping for your inner crystal witch! read more
