I was treated by Dr. Butler while visiting Needles, CA after becoming dehydrated, and I'm so…read moregrateful for the care I received. He was kind, upbeat, and attentive, making a stressful situation much easier. I also shared my concerns about being pre-diabetic, and he took the time to give me helpful tools and guidance to address it. I'm now on a weight loss journey and already feeling healthier, and I truly appreciate his support. If you ever need care in this area, you'll be in very good hands with Dr. Butler.

Worst ER the country.. THEY WILL KILL YOU.. go elsewhere with real DRs .. went to the Needles ER…read moreexpecting emergency medical care, and it was told they had 3 patients and were at max capacity .. Drs are all bottom of the barrel other wise they wouldn't be in Needles.. I have seen the ER DR's high on drugs.. When I arrived, there were only a couple of people in the waiting room. Before I was ever registered or asked about my symptoms, the receptionist, Holly, told me she was too busy because of other patients and an ambulance. I was told I could either wait until she had time to check me in like in 3 hours or go somewhere else. it was dead only 3 patient. I was never registered, never triaged, and never evaluated by a nurse or doctor. When I later tried to make a complaint, I was told there was no supervisor available who could address my concerns. I left and drove to another emergency room, where I received treatment. Looking back, I'm grateful I made that decision. If my experience is any indication, I would strongly encourage anyone with a serious medical concern to consider driving the extra distance to another emergency department if it's safe to do so. I have filed formal complaints with the hospital and the California Department of Public Health because I believe what happened deserves a full investigation.

The question on 'Yelp' is Do you recommend this business? I answered No. So the next question…read morebefore the comment box is, Oh No! What could improve? This facility needs to be shutdown! They do nothing to manage pain, they are only pill pushers and collecting insurance money, Medicare money. In 5 yrs, this facility has never requested bloodwork to see if the drugs they prescribe are affecting liver or kidney function. Recently, changed medication which caused severe side effects to either the med or withdrawal of the old med. When I called the provider (as per the Medication guideline from the pharmacy), I was ignored. When I stopped by to make sure my message wasn't lost, they asked if my partner was with me, I said 'No, he is too sick to get out of bed', their only response was, then take him to ER. There is a drug interaction warning with the new med and another med they prescribe that can cause severe side effects, but they gave him both medications. They helped create an opioid addiction by increasing dosage over 5 yrs and now they are no assistance! We asked repeatedly is there something else, this isn't working, added more meds and increased the dose. No other recommendations. The new medication guide says a patient should have bloodwork done to make sure the liver can tolerate med, No it wasn't done. The medication guide says this should be combined with counseling or therapy for addiction, No, nothing recommended. In addition to the above unethical treatment, you schedule an appointment and can sometimes wait 2 hrs or more in their lobby to be called for your appointment. They have a lot of turn over of staff, especially staff who prescribe meds. There is new signage in their lobby that Fort Mohave Walmart will no longer fill their prescriptions. There is also a delivery pharmacy that will no longer deliver their controlled substance medications. They are blocking the patient from bringing anyone into the exam rooms unless it is medically necessary - I attend all Dr visits with my partner, I am his POA for medical and financial, but no longer cannot go back into the exam room. What are you trying to hide? Don't want anyone asking questions? Please go somewhere else. We will be looking for somewhere else to go and for other options. If I could leave no stars or negative stars I would. In my opinion, this place is danger for your loved one.
