What it DOES NOT have is much in the way of food/other stuff, dedicating an entire wall to papers etc means that they dont have much room for anything else.

And in the highly unlikely event that it's sunny you can get ice cream! Though some hardliner's may question the point in getting ice cream from Dun Laoghaire that isn't Teddy's. I see where their coming from, even though Teddy's is a twenty minute walk away. Plus a further twenty minutes queuing. By which time it'll probably have started raining.

Book Station is another one of these but don't think I am against them at all. You can find the odd wee treasure if you go and rummage often enough.. I found an American 1st addition of Terry Pratchets Good Omens in such a shop a little while ago for less than 10 Euro. A heck of a find in anyone's book! They also stock the usual gift papers, bags, ribbons and paraphernalia, all for a lot less than you'll pay in other stationers.

International Books is the first and last place for any reference material, work books and class supplies for language learners. Sporting an incredible stock that puts the other book shops in town to serious shame, the selection here is fabulous for learners at all levels. There's also a selection of novels and other trade print in multiple languages (even English) that makes this a fine stop for multi-lingual shoppers on the hunt for a good read as well. The shop is tidy and quiet with the sections well maintained -so crucial in any book store but a huge bonus when you're only able to read a few of the titles.

The store has several floors with a large selection of books. It has lots of Irish literature and Irish authors as well as fiction, travel, cooking, children's box and lots of others.
