The most surprising thing is that the prices are better than what the big box stories have for their mediocre furniture. Ronnie and her staff are very helpful with the spatial planning and design aspect of buying new furniture

We thought that buying furniture "long distance" would be difficult and cumbersome. But Ronne made it so easy. We sent pictures of the house along with dimensions and spoke about what we were looking for in terms of specific pieces and our taste. We wanted "country comfortable" combined with a bit of modern and some fun funky pieces, as well. Ronne sent me pictures of her suggestions - which were wonderful. We were thrilled with the outcome - our house is filled with gorgeous furniture and the different "genres" all blend beautifully - from the huge, "squishy" chair in the family room to the industrial electric fireplace made of metal, concrete, and wood in the dining room - it's a showpiece. We ordered 3 bedroom sets as well and a kitchen set - every single piece is just perfect. Ronne picked out some funky end tables and cocktail tables for us and we are so happy with her choices. And, very affordable - such a great value for the quality. Delivery was also made easy, despite the distance - and the 2 guys who came to deliver were professional, friendly, and very helpful - we weren't sure where to put some pieces and they gave us some helpful suggestions and even moved some (very heavy) pieces several times so that we could see what they looked like in different areas - they even helped us set up the cable and internet (You can't ask for more than that). I absolutely would recommend Kurlancheek's to anyone who is shopping for furniture - whether it's just one piece, one room, or an entire house. Ronne turned furniture shopping from a dreaded chore into a pleasure. Caren D. Southold, NY

Building was previously occupied by several businesses with the last being a ShopRite, and the half Ollie's does not use remains vacant. The condition of the parking lot is a mess with holes everywhere, especially in front of the store which is basically just gravel. Ollie's owns this property, so you'd think they would invest in fixing it. This location is large with a good all-around selection of the usual Ollie's merchandise you'd expect, which can be everything from Books to Toys to Soap to Small Appliances. As with every Ollie's, if you decide to buy any Food items, check the expiration dates. Where the problems are most noticeable, is this store has received Ollie's latest renovation, which doesn't mean much until you get to the checkout area. This stores checkout area is poorly configured because it splits the electronics section in half. You have to go into the checkout line to see half the section, which at this store is a problem. This Ollie's is so chronically understaffed there are almost constant lines, and a 10-minute wait to checkout might be fast. The exit doors are in the middle of the checkout area, so to leave, you essentially have to walk back through most of the checkout area. The step backwards this store has taken is a major problem, and at this point I'd rather visit the locations at the Church Hill Mall in Hazleton or the Keyser Oak Shopping Center in Scranton.

My boyfriend stopped in and approached a salesman. He offered little help (younger, tall guy). Pointed him in the direction of air conditioners and that was it. My boyfriend went to him with questions bc he knew exactly what we were looking for and wanted to see if it was available from Voitek's. The guy stared at his computer and said he would need to have the installer come to our home to give us an estimate. He left his phone number were told we'd get a call the following day. It has been over a week now and we haven't received a call. We figured that would happen due to the awkward interaction. As soon as my boyfriend left Voitek's he drove to Rebannack's in Kingston. The sales guy there was super friendly, but unfortunately they do not sell air conditioners. He was so nice that we'd definitely buy appliances from them as opposed to this store closer to our home. Customer service is everything. We have the $, but won't go back to this store. They obviously don't want our business. The owner responded after seeing this review. Yes, the salesperson did call us after this was posted, but we won't fight for someone to call us. They should have called us regardless. There are so many businesses out there and this one obviously doesn't need the business.
