Everyone is amazingly friendly and welcoming! Rooms are awesome! Cleaned and spacious. Food is great! Had a Club sandwich and was amazed at its architecture and construction. It had chicken and corn added. Hey, it was delicious!!! Sorry not picture... I was hungry. I had other meals for which I'll post some picture of. Beers were fresh and conversation with host bar tender was excellent. Overall, this place is excellent! Again, if it is in your prince range, I recommend it.

Truly 15 min walk in either direction was a pleasure to explore. The staff at check in was attentive. There was a restaurant on the first floor that is Japanese infused and you must try. It's pricey but comes with a shoe and great drinks. There was a breakfast buffet with a great barista on the 9th floor that also converts to a restaurant at night. Definitely, have their buffet breakfast. You won't be disappointed. Should you have some down time, relax in their lobby as there is a bar and all are making sure you have a drink on hand. The service from start to finish was top tier and they did everything to make us feel welcome during our stay. We arrived around 1pm and we were able to get our room right away. The rooms here are massive. We had a king bed room, and it was more than enough space for two of us. With separate living room and bedroom area it was such an amazing place to rest after each day of exploring. The room feels a little bit on the older side, with the fan making a loud noise that we just got used to. There's not an electronic thermostat so we had to run the fan on max to keep the room cool. We didn't really use any of the amenities or the restaurant on-site because we wanted to explore the city with the 3 days we had here. They are renovating the gym, but they have a partnership with the gym across the street, which is available to use if you need it. Aside from the hotel, I think the location was perfect for us. We were a 20-minute walk in any direction from all the main sights and restaurants we wanted to explore. The hotel itself is quiet and far enough away from high traffic areas, so it was peaceful and serene throughout. Overall, loved our stay and honestly sad to leave because we loved Valencia and wish we had planned to stay more days here. Would definitely recommend this hotel when visiting the area.

Traveling to Alicante, Granada, Valencia and Madrid has given us the opportunity to get a good idea of how to rank hotels in this beautiful country. The Petit Palace is a boutique type hotel that has two locations in Valencia; this review is for the one located near the Palacio Dos Aquas. What separates the Petit Palace from its competitors is the staff. The people in Spain are pleasant, however, at times you will find some folks in local 'chain' businesses will get frustrated with you depending on your ability to communicate or expectations. This is not the case with the award-winning staff at Petit Palace. The team at the front desk is top notch and will go the extra mile to help you in anyway possible. The breakfast is decent (for Spain), the internet access is clunky with hand written codes provided at check-in that require 24 refreshes, and there is little parking within a couple of hundred yards. These annoyances are common to much of Valencia as it is a dense city where every square inch is being utilized. We stayed for a week and left my seventy-year-old mother in the room for a couple of days on her own. Mom only speaks English and was on her first visit to Europe. The crew at Petit Palace became her friends and made her feel comfortable at all times. This made Valencia a favorite place for Mom. Pros: The Staff is the best we have encountered in any hotel in Spain. Located in the middle of the shopping district and within walking to the train terminal, La Lonja and half a dozen churches and cathedrals. If you stay here, you can walk everywhere in Valencia. The AC is super cold in the summer. Breakfast is decent The breakfast is typical Spanish fare. (Meh- Neither pro or con) Internet access is free and offers decent bandwidth for Skype calls back home. Beds and bedding are ample and comfortable. They offer bikes for rent in the lobby. PP will also hold your bags in the lobby free of charge. The Staff is Great with first timers who do not speak Spanish. Cons: And they are quite minor. Petit Palace is a bit pricey, although the location will save you on taxi fare. The rooms are a bit tight as is the lift (elevator) You have to renew your internet code daily. No parking and drive ups for tourists can be confusing as you may drive through a sidewalk restaurant while navigating to the hotel. 24/7 coffee in the lobby would be nice.
