Despite being at an emergency clinic, I waited for over two hours while multiple patients who arrived long after me were seen and discharged within thirty minutes for seemingly minor issues, such as a rash. While your receptionist was professional and helpful, the attending veterinarian's behavior was unacceptable. When the receptionist motioned toward me and my sick pet, the veterinarian raised her voice and told the receptionist to give me "other resources" because this was an emergency vet. I am deeply offended that she dismissed my cat's condition without an examination, especially as I only sought emergency care out of fear that my pet would not survive the night. I have a primary veterinarian for my three dogs and cat, but I chose to trust your clinic during a crisis. Given the dismissive and rude treatment I experienced, I will not be returning to your business. I also intend to share my experience through local word-of-mouth and on social media platforms, including Google and Facebook. I hope you take this feedback seriously to ensure other pet owners are not treated with such lack of compassion in the future.

Khan , our family pet, had injured his back and ribs from jumping up and down from high furniture and was in obvious pain. This assessment was from a previous Veterinarian we had taken him 48 hrs earlier. Khan was experiencing alot of pain and shaking so we felt the need to have an emergency followup , possibly x-rays to see if there wasn't a deeper concern. Dr Paul and his team were incredible, they did a full thorough examination, gentle, genuinly concerned for Khan's well being. They examined him carefully, explained everything clearly and treated him with so much compassion. They explained everything clearly so they could assist us to help Khan recover. What was my unexpected take away from this visit was they didn't charge me, Yes, it was a followup of a 48 hr previous Vet care visit, yet that level of integrity and heart is rare to find. WOW! That kind gesture marked this establishment with true business integrity and being trustworthy with your pets that are part of the family. Dr Paul and August made what could have been a more stressful situation to one filled with relief and gratitude. We left this clinic feeling so reassured that his profession is one of helping , not just to treat the animal. Khan is already on the mend because of their exceptional care. PLEASE DON'T TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!…read more We brought our 23-month-old Golden Retriever Copper to Animal Care Center on May 10th because he had been vomiting. We brought him here because it was the closest option for us since it was a Sunday (about 35 minutes away) They performed an X-ray, and after being in the clinic for only about five minutes, we were told that they did not see anything concerning and that he simply had a sensitive stomach. Unfortunately, the vomiting continued for the next two months. There were countless phone calls and visits involving two different veterinary hospitals, and new X-rays discovered a pacifier was found in his digestive track by a different veterinarian where it required surgery to remove (intestinal surgery is much riskier than stomach surgery) . After that surgery, he developed an infection and he passed away on July 31st. We will never know with absolute certainty what would have happened if the pacifier had been identified on May 10th by Animal Care Center at Panama City Beach. However, we strongly believe that if the object had been identified when it was still in his stomach, the situation could have been addressed much earlier, potentially with a less invasive procedure and while he was in better overall condition. We can't help but wonder if he would still be here today. Our biggest concern is that we paid for an X-ray and were specifically told that nothing was there when there appears to have been something clearly on the image. We trusted this veterinary hospital to properly evaluate our dog, and that trust was devastatingly misplaced. ***I am not a veterinarian, but we obtained photos of the original X-ray from Animal Care Center, and there was clearly a pacifier in his stomach. Please see the attached pictures and make your own judgment. We trusted the professionals to properly interpret the X-ray and tell us if something was wrong.*** What made the experience even worse was how we were treated afterward. We received no meaningful apology or acknowledgment for the fact that the object had been missed on the original X-ray. We were left to deal with the consequences while our dog continued to deteriorate. Our dog was not just a pet. He was a member of our family, and losing him at only 23 months old has been absolutely heartbreaking. We understand that veterinarians are human and that mistakes can happen. Our issue is not that we expected perfection. Our issue is that we paid for an X-ray, were told there was nothing there when I feel anyone could look at the x ray and see there was something suspicious in his stomach. We hope this review makes other pet owners aware of what happened and encourages this veterinary hospital to take situations like this more seriously. At the very least, we deserved an explanation and an apology. We loved our dog more than words can explain, and we will forever wonder whether catching this on May 10th could have changed the outcome.

I cannot tell you how much Dr Norm and Darrian made the final moments with our girl as special as they could be. From the decor and furnishings of the office we were in to their thoroughness and tender care of the exam to the gentleness of the final moments, we could not have been more cared for, it was like they had known us and Seminole since birth rather than just meeting us that day. If your pet requires this type of treatment, I strongly advise you to seek care elsewhere. My beloved pet, was recommended intravenous chemotherapy to help slow the recurrence. During our consultation, Dr. Norm did not mention that the chemo would also affect her red blood cells and platelets , leading to internal bleeding and severe diarrhea and dehydration that even with intravenous fluids, my fur baby wouldn't recover. after going to an emergency vet during our follow-up call with dr. Norms westside clinic, to inform them of her condition, we were informed that, even if we had experienced issues while close by, they were not equipped to treat them with blood or plasma transfusions. If the clinic can't support the fur babies for any and all WELL KNOWN side effects, then the medication they were administering should not be able to be administered at this facility.

Well Mo Mo was just fine nothing to worry about. When I saw that amount (still paying on it plus interest) I raised my voice at her and let her know how I felt. Well, she just said to me, You, told me to do what I needed to do! I had an appointment August 21 for my large cat Sam. I just wanted his mouth checked. Well, he had a bad tooth and Doctor Hubbard let me see his mouth and just that one small tooth that needed to come out. Well Doctor Hubbard had Sam taken to the back for a shot of antibiotics. It was because I was going to have that tooth out and he needed it and another later one. Well, as I was in the room waiting, the person who took Sam to the back brought me what Doctor Hubbard was going to do for Sam in taking care of his tooth, did come back to me and gave me a list of things Doctor Hubbard was going to do for Sam. Well, it showed the low and the high cost. Hi cost $753.30 low cost $590.80. Well, the person who brought me those two pages did explain what they were all about. She left me and I was looking over those two pages, when all of a sudden, I saw a different name on that first page. I got up and went into the hallway saying this person's name and who was she? Well, Doctor Hubbard had given me the wrong bill. Well, I got my new bill, and it was a carbon copy of the one to another woman. The only thing was the names. Doctor Hubbard cannot be trusted, and I can only imagine what she thought when I saw what I did. Doctor Hubbard, in Blountstown Critter Care is taking advantage of pet owners. Doctor Hubbard doesn't care about the animal in Blountstown. Like I said, I do not know how she is in Panama City Critter Care, but it is all about the money In Blountstown. I use Care Credit and I feel she takes advantage of this and just would like to know how many people who trust her are paying more to someone who needs money and I feel Blountstown Critter Care. I did make an appointment for Sam's tooth. But going to cancel it Monday. Doctor Hubbard has put down for Sam, so many things that he doesn't need or what I want for now and she knows it.
