And I have my eye on a shabby chic rocker that I hope to buy in the near future. There are more items outside on a porch, but again it's kind of hard to move around to get out there and see everything. The young lady working in the shop was too busy talking on her cell phone to acknowledge me until I came to the register with a picture I wanted to buy. At this point, she says "You do know we only take cash or checks, right?" Really? This is 2012, what legitimate business doesn't accept credit cards? I mean seriously.....you can get a Square-Up card reader for FREE and run them right from your phone! I can't tell you the last time I wrote a check, don't even think I have any, and I never carry cash (as many people don't), so this store just lost not only this sale but any future sales they may have made with me.
