We are very pleased with them and the product. I would give them 5 stars. We placed the order March 2023 and they were installed by July 2023. Now for part 2. There was something wrong with door shutter ordered in March 2023. As a result, it was not installed with the other windows in July 2023. They would have to reorder the door shutter. In October 2023, Kris contacted me and said she forgot all about the order and apologized. She said she would put the order in. It is now Feb 2024 and still no door shutter. We paid for this door shutter in March 2023 and have not heard anything from Kris or Frank. I have tried repeated emails, texts, and voice mails, but I get no response from Delmarva Blinds & Shutters. Very disappointing since the window installations went perfect. As a result, I would rate them a 1 star. It's like they see my email address and phone number and choose to ignore me.

About 4.5 weeks went by we heard nothing and we started calling-no answer and voice mails not returned. On 5/3 we went to store and office girl looked up order on computer and said it was being shipped in 10 days. 10 days came and went-we heard nothing. We sent email stating it be installed by 5/30 or refund of deposit returned. On 5/29 VP sent email saying full refund would be returned in 7-10 days. Its been 3 weeks and NOTHING. No refund, they won't return calls, won't return emails. They have taken our money, lied to us, won't return calls or emails. Have left message for President of company, as well and she has not called us either.

Mark Hubbard may have been at one time a good person to do business with but that is no longer the…read morecase. I went in to get window treatments as well as framing -- the lack of interest to framing led me to find another vendor. I was able to order roller shades, but the batteries were ordered inconsistently -- half rechargeable and the other replaceable AA batteries. When asked to change them all to the rechargeable batteries the cost was prohibitive so I asked from them to be all AA. Supposedly, he was mailing them to my client's home directly; they never came. When asked again, they never came. I have asked again, and now he wants to charge me to get what was originally ordered. For a company so disorganized, it will come at a cost in time and money to you. I would highly advise using another local company even if they may be more expensive (there are several others) than Hubbard's, but you will pay for it in the long run if you choose to use Hubbard's. It pains me to discourage using a Cambridge company when I wish local companies would thrive, but in good conscience I cannot encourage anyone to use this company.
