I visited Opti-mart, Crystal River, today to replace 2 pair of glasses--shades and clear. I had several questions about frame material durability since the finish had worn badly on my last pair of shades and Olivia explained that even if some frames were marked as stainless steel they might be coated with a finish that could fail. She said that titanium frames that they carry are solid so the finish won't wear off. We also talked about coating plastic lenses and whether I needed it given my wear situation. I have optical insurance and she figured the price of the glasses using the insurance versus their sale price and determined that the insurance gave a lower copay on one pair and their sale saved more on the other. Love this place! The staff is awesome. They treat you like people and genuinely care about their customers. I brought my twins in back in September and have had nothing but stellar service from them. Dr. Day was great with my kids. Jennifer Nicholson always greets us with a smile and is very knowledgeable and helpful. We have had to return a few times since the initial visit, as my son is all boy and has broke his glasses a few times already. Jennifer has been there to help us get new frames, adjustments, and assisted us with our billing and insurance questions. She definitely turned a daunting task into a positive experience! read more

Recently had an extremely satisfactory experience having distance prescription filled for sunglasses at Opti-Mart in Crystal River, Florida. I was very happy with the service and atmosphere of this Optimart. I was able to get an appointment quickly. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The Dr was whitty during the exam to keep it light and fun. Overall this was a great experience! There selection for frames is great and everyone is very knowledgeable about the products they sell. I love to go to Opti-mart to get my eyes checked, they have great dr.'s and staff to help you with your needs. The office is very clean. You never have to wait long to get an appointment or wait in the waiting room either. The staff is there to help you if you want with choice of glasses. I would go there again just because of the reasons I stated. It is hard to find nice places to get your eyes checked. read more

Dr. Clough was patient with me. He explained everything in a clear voice (that's important to hard of hearing people). He was funny as well, not the awkward kind of funny though. His staff were wonderful, knowledgable,and patient. They worked with me on my options and we came up with a great price for my glasses. I've been coming here for over 10 years. read more

I was there today, what excellent customer service and everyone is so nice! My mother couldn't go with me to my appointment to help me pick out new glasses so one of the very nice ladies who worked there helped me. I really appreciated that.
