A person assists you for the check in acknowledging and signing and gives you a wrist band. There are 2 sections that I know of downstairs I have gone to and upstairs has two other areas for images and physician visits and a pediatric wing . They forewarn you that you are expected to be there 2 to 4 hours and it can be more. An assistant tech,nurse always comes first and asks questions to evaluate. After the doctor comes in there can be fellow students at times as this is a teaching hospital. They have a snack cart to choose a snack and beverage since you are there for so long if needed. The also offer coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. A charging station is available is some waiting areas . I did get a biopsy done last year in the outpatient with some amazing nurses at the begining to keep me calm . There was one at the end that just wanted to push me out saying it is not all day just in and out, even though I did not feel ready to get up. I was diagnosed with an eye disease on top of another issue I went in for initially. I am being treated for this so I have follow up visits Plan to spend all day. They have an optical center on site for those who wish to get glasses there too. A pediatric wing is also available. It is very easy to get to as it is right off of turpike exit of Palm Beach Gardens. Alot of parking up front and a drop off undercover for those who need to be dropped off.

My wife, daughter, and I have been coming here for years. Something has definitely changed with…read morethis business. Possibly new ownership structure? I ordered glasses over a month ago and have been met with no response, no updates, and a bunch of very hard to believe stories. Two weeks after the order, I called several times with no answer. I'll spare you the long story but in summary the experience is that no one answers their phones, they don't return messages, and I'm given several different excuses including these gems; Complexity of prescription may take longer than 2 weeks, they were unexpectedly closed so UPS couldn't deliver, UPS has the order and is delivering today (last week), UPS forgot to stop by and deliver to their office for the past 3 days (this week), and now UPS dropped the box and the glasses broke. I demanded a refund and was told they would provide a full refund and refund the money paid by my insurance so I can use the benefit elsewhere. On my way out the door to get my script and refund to my credit card, I received a call informing they will not provide a refund now and I'm still in limbo with my glasses. A "director" of their business is supposed to call me today or Tuesday. We'll see but no reason to make this worse which is what I expect they'll do. We appreciated the care Dr. Weinberg has taken with her patience during the examination process but you can't operate a business like this. They were paid over $800 for the glasses including the insurance portion. Still I have no glasses and no idea when they're going to arrive. What I do have is a lot of BS that I received from this staff.
