It is a good sized shop with a lot of choice of glasses frames. The staff are helpful and pretty efficient. When I went for my eye test I was impressed with the high-tec equipment and the thorough test. I have had my glasses repaired there and they are good value for money. The only downside is when I wanted to order my contact lenses from them, they wanted me to pay for another test when I already have a precription and test in date. Worth popping in for a free sight test though.

I was impressed as staff put me at ease before I went through for my eye test. All relevant paperwork was filled in and when I did need glasses I was given plenty of time to look at the frames and try those I picked out on. Even for those on benefits the staff do their best to pick out fashionable frames, helping to hide the fact that they are much cheaper than the others. Glasses are ready within days of being ordered. The shop itself is fairly small though it is well lit. They also carry a great variety of frames.

My three year old also had an eye test here and they were really great with children - he was disappointed not to need glasses!! I also had my old glasses repaired here for free before I was a customer. They couldn't be nicer or more helpful.

It's a little too small for my liking with less than friendly staff watching you like a hawk (would anyone really smash glass cabinets open to steal spectacles with plain glass in them??). Let me first explain why I wanted one, because I was getting such a sore head when I was reading on the computer all the time and also when I was reading. It was time to get those multi-coloured glasses on and give it a shot. Great I thought, Insight could see me. The lady was polite, not much else, but she did everything I would have expected and concluded that one of my eyes was a little lazier than the other so I could benefit from a few eye exercises that I could do everyday. I was recommende tomporary glasses for these exercises, but opted to just freestyle them glasses-less. Very expensive are glasses.

If you receive NHS vouchers you get a massive discount and there is usually a two for one deal on glasses over £69. The lady in here was kind enough to screw my glasses back together for free after one of the lenses fell out.

dont rate this place at all. miserable staff, miserable experience and to me not very child…read morefriendly. took my son in to book an eye test .shop was empty but we still had to wait 5 days to get examination . optician got ratty because my son kept fidgiting, fair enough but hes only young, what did she want me to do with him,seemed to take forever and a day to get through it.anyways wasnt impressed by there range of glasses and i dont think they were too interested if you werent buying the glasses ,i.e nhs frames for kids, there isbetter opticians in the area and i wouldnt put any of my children through that experience again, at the end of theday i know they are there to provide a service but they could try it with a smile one day.
