Phone reps are courteous, reception both on Dr and PT sides are great and doctors are amazing. Never have seemed rushed. Ignore the previous reviews from years ago. I went to my 4th therapy session after dealing with the receptionist about copay. I had talked to the billing manager that told me that since I had a credit balance there would not be any copay for the next 5 visits. The receptionist ignored me when I told her if she had any questions to call her manager. I will never go into that place with those people as receptionist. read more

Horrible customer service. Was given surgery then Optim did not answer my phone calls for 3 full days immediately following my surgery to answer questions regarding recovery. Staff seemed frustrated to be assisting me. 0/10 experience. read more

Doctors are great, front desk staff not so much. Come prepared to wait, they are always running behind. Doctors truly seem to care about you here, and remember you. Nurses are also very friendly . read more

Got a horrible case of ringworm from the physical therapy center on both sides of my hips, that eventually engulfed my entire body! I've never, ever seen any of the staff wipe down the tables in between patients, and I know that this is where I got it from as I had had no physical contact with any other persons or animals, and it was my hips, specifically, that were being treated for ITB syndrome. It took me over two months of oral medication to clear it, as it was a resistant strain that didn't respond to creams. Really negatively affected my life in every way imaginable. Absolutely awful. I will never go back and I do not recommend this place to anyone!! Literally RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN. read more

Doctor is great, but you can only get in to see them if you can hurdle over disgruntled staff that deter you from coming in, multiple transferring and redirection to wrong departments, scheduling at offices outside your area although you've gone to see your doctor at your area optim, and incorrectly being informed about appointments and availability at offices. Overall, you have to put in a continued effort to coordinate and follow up. I feel terrible for someone who does not have the time and capacity to do this because they will be shorted on care. My husband and mother have seen Dr. Jaakala for foot issues, and I've seen Dr. Aaron for my shoulder. The care has been outstanding. Dr. Aaron referred me for PT so I saw Jud in the PT department, and I can't say enough about Jud and the wonderful care and attention I've received. This was my first and last experience with them. I had dislocated my knee and went to a Immediate care facility to get it checked out. They sent me to Optim Orthopedics to get a physicians order for a MRI. So I arrive for my 8:00am appointment around 7:30-7:45 believing I might have some paperwork to fill out. I completed the online check in prior so I had no paperwork to fill out. I was one of the only ones there but took a seat and waited patiently to be called. 8:00 rolled by, then 8:30, next thing you know it's 9:30am. People have came and went but I was still there. So I went up to the front and asked how much longer since I had been there 2+ hours and an hour and a half after my appointment. The receptionist looked dumbfounded and said "oh you're next!" As soon as she said that she literally almost sprinted out of her seat to grab a nurse. Which lead me to believe they completely skipped over me. (Ugh) The physician was extremely nice and helpful and ordered my MRI (I physically watched him write the prescription for the MRI and he told me he was) FAST FORWARD they tell me they will call me within the week to schedule the mri, after they get in contact with my insurance. 2 weeks roll by without a call from and I call the imaging center there and ask for an update, my knee is consistently getting worse and I just want to know why. They tell me... "we don't have an order for you. The nurse or physician never brought us one or ordered one, but I'll check" they go and check and after a 30 minute hold session they say "okay! Well we got the order, we have to run it through your insurance first, then contact you within the week to get you in!" I was finally relieved that it was being taken care of, and I could get some answers. SIKE...... it's been a month since then and I have yet to ever receive a phone call from them. I'm not calling them back, I've found somewhere else that was MUCH better! (Only reason I'm giving it 2 stars was because Dr. Hodges was an incredible physician) read more
