CPR Cell Phone Repair El Dorado

First and foremost, do not bring your electronics to this business or your money to any business…read moreowned by this guy. I dropped my cracked iPhone screen off at this place and was told it would be a quick 1 hour screen repair. They were charging the astronomical price of $150 for this service. After twenty minutes of "working" on my phone, the incompetent female worker informed me that she had broken the home button on my phone and that she needed to wait for the "Tech" to get there to fix it. He got there and could not repair the home button. So now I have a broken $1000 phone that isn't working properly. Here is where the story gets really good. I went to pick up my phone and was met at the counter by the owner of the business who, to say the very least, was an arrogant prick who truly believed he would intimidate and threaten me into paying full price for breaking my phone. He handed me my phone with the new screen and told me he would reduce the price to $100 from $150. Despite the screen being new, they installed it incorrectly and the phone would not seat properly inside of the backing of the phone, in addition to the home button being broken. Now that I had my property back, I told him that I would happily reimburse him for the screen, but would not be paying a dollar more due to the fact that they damaged my phone and reassembled it incorrectly. I said he could take the money for the new screen or replace a $1000 phone. He became irate and started slamming his hands on the counter. I just stared at him because I could easily issue this guy a beat down, but I opted for the civilized option of offering to pay for the material I used. He then, very angrily and reluctantly, agreed to accept $50, but that he would only accept cash. Lol. I told him I would go get it and bring it back. I went to the nearest ATM and gave him $60 because they would not give 10's and told him to keep the change. While I was gone he called some weak-looking punk to come sit inside to try and intimidate me. The moral of the story is that the owner of this business is not only incompetent, worthless, and a bully. He is also a spineless coward and thug who literally resorted to intimidating his customers over simply just being good at his job. Truly pathetic.

If you as a customer enjoy being argued with, this is the store for you…read more If being patronized by the staff who are equally condescending as they are ignorant is the goal, this location achieves the highest of accolades. Our experience with AT&T El Dorado began with a phone call. I called to inquire about the current stock of iPhones. My dad wanted to purchase a new phone and add a line to his existing account. I called to confirm what they had in store as we wanted to pick it up in person. We didn't care so much about the color / size of the phone, just didn't want to order online as the delivery time was roughly 30 days. (This concept was rocket science to some) Cole assured me over the phone that he couldn't check what they had in stock because a customer was "in the store." We decided just to stop by. Perhaps being a customer "in the store" would help our chances. The plan. Purchase an iPhone 13, add an existing line to our account. Should be easy, but such requests first require being berated about our the age of our current plan. "Oh, this is a really old account. We can just switch this around for you." "No thanks, we just want to purchase the phone and add the line" my dad responded. "But you only have 30 gigs of data...." My dad: "... I know. That's not why we're here today. Just want to look about the phone." "But if you go over that 30 gigs, it'll charge you extra..." Dad: "I'm aware. We just want to see about adding the line, purchasing the phone." "Well, first we have to figure out what phone you want." He sneered. Dad: "We're looking for the iPhone 13 ... base model." The associate disappears for a bit and came back a few minutes later. "Can't check to see if it's in stock. Our safe has a timer on it and can't be opened for another five minutes." My dad and I look at each other. Apparently a list of inventory is a foreign concept. He resumes. "Since your plan is so old how about we just ..." This continued for some time. All in all this experience ended as disappointingly as it started. He even assured us that we couldn't purchase the phone outright (even though we brought cash). We had to set up a payment plan. I told him we had purchased phones through AT&T before, paid for them outright and just added the line. "Not in my store. Where did you do this? What store was this? No sir. Can't just buy it," was his response. We walked away ... no new phone and more frustrated than when we started. I hear Verizon is nice ....
