Norman was incredibly thorough and helped me get my mom's internet working extremely well. He troubleshot a lot of the issues we were having and made sure the router was relocated in the right place for her needs. He listened to us and our complaints and made sure everything was covered. He did his work very quickly and was very kind and polite. Johnathon and Carlos came and buried the cable and did a great job with minimal disturbance to the lawn. They were very polite and also efficient and made sure to lock the back gate on their way out. I appreciate Optimum's care and service and speedy fix given our multitudes of complaints previously. Mom goes to this office once a month to pay her bill. On more than one occasion, the place is packed because everyone is paying their bill . I imagine others are there to stop or start service. I hear so many complaints, but we don't have a problem with our cable. Now, if we discuss internet, well, that is a bit different because sometimes it quits for no apparent reason. I went into the Enid, OK office today to check on an account balance, and I ended up having a non-related conversation with who I am guessing in an office manager; now I like having conversations about topics even if not related to a particular visit, but I do not like that conversation turning into a one sided interaction where a shit manager with a screwed up attitude starts treating me like I don't know what I'm talking about and getting treated like complete dog crap. She defends businesses that are not Optimum and treats others opinions as though they are personal attacks which they most certainly were not. This lady does not need to be a manager if she is one, and needs an attitude adjusting experience. Terrible visit today and makes me not want to go into the office to make a bill payment on behalf of a friend whom I do this for because I use the service. Zero Stars!!! Internet fails every 3-5 days. Have to fight with the online tech to get a signal sent to fix the problem! The refuse to do so every time even though it states on our account that's the Only way to get the internet to reset. It does not matter if you reset it 3 times and do a factory reset before contacting them. Just sit there agree but don't waste your time actually doing it. If they just did their job or actually fixed the problem it would be nice. Tried to replace the modem and was told at the store a repairman has to come to the house verify it's bad charge me $99 for the visit snd they have to recommend a replacement! If this was not the only place we are forced to use We would have canceled the first Month. 1 gig internet has never run above 500 meg. My pc can run at 6 gigs so I know the speed. When asked I was informed that 500 less than 1/2 a gig is within limits. So running at 50% or less is normal IF that's true the bill should be 50% offf read more

3 years after canceling my services, returning my equipment, and paying what I thought was my final bill, I received a letter in the mail from a collection agency stating I owe them $180.00 . in 3 years I received zero letters, my last email was from 2019 letting me know they received my payment, and zero phone calls. 3 years later they are saying I owe them money BUT when I call they refuse to send me a bill or any pay history on the account. One of the rudest employees I have ever encountered, Cheryl or if that is her real name said she was the manager and she could not help me. I went in the Enid store to inquire about my mothers cable bill, I wanted to find out if a payment had been received or not. Cheryl (the manager) told me that the if the payment was mailed to the address provided by Optimum that it would take a month to process. I guess mail is delivered by covered wagon. Cheryl then tells me that she can't tell me if a payment has been received and that the full amount is due now. I questioned why it would take a month to receive the payment and her reply was because the post office takes that long to process mail. At that moment I was thru being nice, I told her that she did not have to be so rude, and that I would just make payment and call the corporate office to complain about her. She then got smart with me and said "Go Ahead" I don't care how bad a day you have had without customers you Cheryl do not have a job. I'm looking into switching to direct tv and AT&T for my services. I will never go into that store again except to turn in my equipment read more

I had a scheduled installation today 5pm-8pm after needing to wait 5 days for an available time. Suddenlink's contracted installer arrives an hour before the scheduled time while no one is home, then neglects to answer any attempts made by their customer service to come back out during the scheduled time. It is IMPOSSIBLE to ever talk to a HUMAN BEING. Instead, a dang robot comes on automatically saying they will fix my connection when that is NOT the problem. I have a SIMPLE, but maddening question, and it is with On Demand. Someone is simply not doing his/her job at Suddenlink. Programs are supposed to be transferred within a 24-hour period. It happens with very few programs. Somehow, I got transferred to speak to a representative, and another robot is in my ear constantly telling me they are busy with other customers. If I hear another robot speak to me instead of a person, I am going to throw something through my t.v. screen. With the prices you charge, you should be hiring people to help. I am so MAD I am ready to scream, and I have, in fact, been screaming. The Enid, OK service area might be the worst in the entire country. The original installer never got it working to begin with or finalized installation. Then after calling suddenlink about 5 different times with a plethora of different reboots and hard setups - finally they agreed to send out a service technician. Of course the technician never showed up during the 3 hour window and suddenlink never called or acknowledged. Then they throw me all the way back into the cue for all of the dumb modem resets. read more

Wow, I have never seen a business this poorly ran. The people that work there give zero sh#%'s about their customers. My bill has been different every month. Most recently I had a movie in a foreign language on my bill that I didn't order. I was told if the system say you did it than you did it. Lol, this is amazing customer service! I average about 7-12 days a month with no service. If you need or rely on having internet than avoid these guys at all cost. When I call because I don't have service, they usually let me know it is my fault too. It's pretty insane at the level of rudeness their offshore customer service team hands out. This company is criminal. In our contract we said we would like emails before we went over our internet, for several months we went over without even knowing until the charge came. They then decided to switch our internet plan without sending an email, or telling us.... the worst though, is we cancelled our account and internet before we left (we were moving to another military base). We even got the cancellation email. Several months afterwards (today) we get a call that they discontinued our service because we haven't paid the bill... mind you, we cancelled in March... so, if you CAN get ANYONE else for your internet provider, please consider it. They are the about the only internet provider in the area and its speed is constantly way below what I am paying for (supposed to download at 400MPS but get 60MPS at best, upload matches at 40MPS. I DO NOT recommend this internet provider in Enid Oklahoma. I have had the absolute worst experience working with the people at this location. I would not recommend this service to anyone looking for friendly help with their internet or Cable. They have awful customer service in store they are very rude. There is a lady by the name of Cheryl, when I walked in she was extremely rude and passive agressive towards me from the start. She refused to listen to me or answer any of my questions. All I wanted was to cancel my account due to many other previous reasons. She began to tell me how rude I was in many different forms. She refused to give me her first name at first, but finally told me towards the end of our very awful conversation. She also refused to give me her last name or managers information. Since I wanted to talk to anyone else but her. I have had issues with them before about my internet and cable not working on multiple occasions and when their people would come out, they would tell me its fixed but it would continue to not work. Our bill would also constantly change. They nickel and dime you for everything and half the time you dont know what for. Our bill started out around $100, but our last statements have all been different and the most recent was $152 and we had made no changes to our account. So be weary. They also will not let you cancel without heckling you for a long time. As a military family we will for sure be getting a new Internet provider and not recommending them to new comers to Vance Air Force Base. read more

After years of my family being a loyal customer I have to put my foot down. We are paying for their second fastest internet service that is SUPPOSED TO BE UNLIMITED only to find out they have constantly put data limits on our service without informing us. The internet service is also suuuuper slow. Maxing out at 56 Mbps where as my friend who is also using Suddenlink apparently has 150+ Mbps speeds. Oh and let's not forget the fact that every night like clockwork at 1 am the service drops to at MOST 4 MBPS! I'm sorry but what the god damn hell is this? And the refurbished routers they constantly supply us with is fucking annoying as well! read more

Requested service be installed in our shop approximately 30 foot from our residence and was told a meter would need to be installed for the shop and it would be billed as a separate address. Why, I asked. Response, that is just what her supervisor told her. Building is on property that has an address! Only Suddenlink would do something like this. Service is mediocre at best. Have their internet service only, because television and phone does not work properly. They are the only cable company in town and they let you know it. Had them out for customer service call and was charged $70.00 to tell us they couldn't help us with our problem. Our shop has electricity from a meter used by the home, but internet service requires its own meter. Really? Just another way to show how honest and reliable Suddenlink is!!! Wish we had another cable provider to do business with. Will be looking for another internet provider soon.
