Jay (physio) & Roz (remedial massage) have been crucial in getting me to the start line in the best shape possible after quite a few injury setbacks. They provide excellent treatments (massage, dry needling) and brilliant "homework" including gym programs, running technique, self-massage & stretching tips, plus more to get you back on track as soon as possible. The reception staff including Brit, Elly & Cassie are also super lovely & accommodating at fitting you in for last minute & after hours appointments where possible. If you have a niggling injury I highly recommend these guys (as do many sporting teams around town who use these guys too - think Melb Storm, Melb Rebels, Northern Blues VFL etc)!!

You can go to a generic Pilates class and do the exercises but are they a program that is working on what you need fixing? I have been attending Recover Sports Medicine for a short time, and working with expert physio Elle, and found that I'm seeing fast results in both posture, shoulder movement and core strength that are helping in everyday life and on the footy field. We started out with a number of individual sessions that included a combination of massage and exercise coaching and I have now progressed to small group classes working on my individual program with guided supervision. Definitely concerns me when I go in to see a doctor for the first time and they don't ask me minor standard questions like my day-to-day routine. Not here though! He provided me with tips, a treatment plan including stretches and strengthening and immediate relief through some body work. I'm pretty sure he even went a little over my intended time... and I was 10 minutes late. I'm also just traveling through but didn't feel like I was just getting in and out. Also cool guy personally to talk with. And Tara was extremely nice as well. Will be back for Pilates and another checkup in 4 days.

Brand new premises, a big comfortable waiting room and friendly reception staff. There is also a pathology collection centre on site. I have been lucky so far with waiting times (touchwood) - maybe because I get early afternoon appointments at the start of my GPs shift - but you always expect to wait a little at the doctor unfortunately. No bulk billing (except for exceptional circumstances), but they do the Medicare claim on the spot for you, so you get the refund straight away - which is exactly how it should be everywhere now!

Since moving to the new surgery it is almost always guaranteed you will get an appointment, but with this seems to come an expected wait time of over 45 min, of course you expect to wait at the doctors but 45 - 60 mins is a little ridiculous in my opinion. I will continue to go here due to convenience & the quality of the doctors but expect a wait & it is slightly pricey but you get what you pay for.

Booking was easy over the phone and we managed to get appointment for the same day The physio we booked into specialises with children and she has a lovely manner, friendly and very thorough. Our initial appointment was about 45 min and she went through different positions to ascertain the cause / extent of pain. I would come back if needed as I found the session to be value for money, thorough and insightful. Lucky for us, my daughter's pain was not serious and does not need ongoing treatment. When I left I was given a new client pack which include referral cards, which gives a friend $20 off their first session and $20 off my next session - so if you are thinking of going let me know, happy to give you the card.
