That's why often when a neon signs stop working or the glass breaks, they just get pitched in the dumpster. Then has to be a special sign when the repair costs more than the sign. Mine was. Called and explained mine would flash for a second and go out. Immediately diagnosed as a faulty transformer and given a price to replace. I drop off the sign and away we go. No communication until I follow up a couple of weeks later and I'm told yep transformer but also some neon needs to be replaced and the price is nearly double the initial quote if I proceed. Of course right... I know when I switched that sign on 20 times, trying to get it to work, the whole thing lit up. I was told you'd only see it if it stayed on and to be fair they did offer to send me a photo to show me (it didn't come through but they tried). At this point we negotiated to a price between what I was told initially and the higher price so that was fair. I go to pick up the sign and there are two transformers and two plugs, basically the old one was not broken just not powerful enough to drive the entire sign. I asked about the two plugs and was told common for large signs. My sign is a lakefront brewery beer sign. I have four other brewery signs in my garage and none of them has two plugs. This matters to me because one you didn't do what you said, which was replace the old transformer with a more powerful one that powers the entire sign. Second while two plugs maybe doesn't matter to some, I have many things plugged in so outlet space is a premium. They suggested I just buy an adapter and plug them both into it, but honestly while of course that will work, that's not really a professional repair I paid $185 for... to summarize when my sign broke and I emailed Lakefront Brewery to see if they had a repair contact, Russ emailed me back saying it's just not worth it. Ny last trip they replaced my front rotors which I thought would be expensive. When I got the bill I found they covered the rotors and installation under warranty without even talking to me about it. On another occasion I had a loud rattle only when the car was cold and they found the problem that only required bending a metal bracket near the tailpipe. Very inexpensive fix and the noise has never come back. I am a 100% satisfied customer.

While it's typically a quick in and out with attentive staff and function, I'd grade it a 4 our if 5 with a slight reduction due to cost and, at times, my car is not quite fully squeaky clean. I also think their pricing is designed in a way to push folks to sign up for a membership to get the better or higher-tier car washes. Example, to get a well-rounded wash, it's roughly $20 when a membership with unlimited washes is $30 a month. Sure, you can get a basic $10 wash but if my $20 wash isn't always spotless I don't know how a $10 would fare.

The other day I went for a wash like many on one of the first warmer days we have had and even upgraded my wash and did not get a good wash! Normally I vacuum my car out after so I would have seen right away however it was a busy errand day and when driving past they had no line so I took it as a sign to hop in since it was in great need of a wash to get off all the salt. One of the benefits usually with Jilly's is the attendants at the start will manually spray/mop the car down. So needless to say my poor car came out not looking like a shiny queen but dusty sad thing. I'm split on how to overall review this since normally I had a great experience however this one was not (especially since I upgraded and added an extra salt thing on top of that ...) therefore going with my gut and looking more independently at this visit alone.

Although the manager (Kristin) was out of office, she still replied and had the staff expedite the order for a Christmas gift and pickup later that day. Upon arrival (pickup by another person), the color had incorrectly printed. The designer (Josh) emailed me to explain and see what we could do to resolve the issue. I personally stopped by near closing time. The designer took the extra time to work with me to get the correct color printed and explained again what we could do going forward. The staff is always so nice here, and I greatly appreciated the extra time to ensure everything printed up perfectly. They stayed late tonight on a Friday of the holiday weekend to make sure I was happy and had my gift in time! I will continue to go here for orders big and small. Thank you so much!
