They have also made new changes since the fall of 2023 to the interior so that those with mobility issues are not able to be in the office even if they did have a portable ramp for the front of the store steps. This is a huge insult! In response to JM's comment. No, this is true as I was actually refused entry and my appointment cancelled due to my mobility issues. A portable, easy to lay down and lift up ramp would solve the issue. However, I was informed that this won't help as the office has changed inside so that I can't wheel about in there even if I did gain entry. There is no space, this is what I was told. JM, in response to your need for a larger space to serve everyone: And yet last year I was able to fit in the waiting area and get an exam. I don't think that your space has suddenly become smaller. And in regard to your landlord not supplying a portable, light weight, easy to carry and place on the step out front to make your store accessible: This isn't something that the landlord would need to install as it doesn't get installed and would work like moving a chair from one side of the room to another. There is no point in my continuing comments to these excuses that you are making as the bottom line is: My appointment was cancelled this year by your office due to my need for that portable ramp. I don't expect you to truly understand how bad this feels for me. After finding an optometrist last year, I now must start over due to something as simple and easy as a portable ramp.

Fantastic group of people. It's a quiet, comfortable place that will help you out guaranteed.read more

When the person answered she took all my information about what my son's prescription required and asked me to hold. Almost 10 minutes goes by when someone answers and asks how they can help me. I tell him I can calling about prices for eyeglasses and he exclaims, "Oh! We don't do that here. Not on the Quebec side." I told him I had specifically asked, was transferred, gave info and was told to hold. He says, "I'm sorry, but we don't do that here." Unbelievable!!

First the optometrist started in on the scolding me, about how the importance of having eye test done at 40 years old and not at 57 years, I was totally confused with his behaviour, I was just about to get up and leave his office, but I decided to give him another chance on how he would continue with my appointment. He just kept insulting me has he was testing my eyes. His ignorance just kept up. Before I walk out of his office, I completely turn in a full circle and looked him straight in the face and told him is this how he treats his patients, for if so he has totally no manner in his profession. I told him he needed better skills on how to talk to patients, for he does not have the right to humiliate a client. I told him he is the most ignorant professional that I had in all my adult life. I told him I ran a Home Care Service and would never treat clients like this. On my behalf I would like whoever hired this so called professional,to take a look into his workmanship. For I would never recommend him to any other client. Lucy Kingsbury
