They walked me through everything step by step and treated me with compassion and without judgement! They lie about the cost of the office visit. In person and by phone they claim it's $125. It's not. You get a bill for much higher with zero explanation. When you call billing, they take a mssg and NEVER get back to you. They did this to us twice in a row, two separate visits, a day apart. Deceptive business practices. While I have been pleased with my physician through Optum here in CO Springs, I ran into billing complications with Labcorp because the physician is still registered in FL...hence I am considered an out of state patient. This seemed like an easy fix, but despite numerous calls, messages, etc., the office manager has not adjusted the records to show the physician is now practicing in CO or called me back. After seven months, my bill will soon be directed to a bill collector and my credit rating will be affected. I have spent hours trying to make the connection and get this addressed, with no help from the local office or the main CO office. As others have noted, Optum shows a complete incompetence and lack of care for their clientele. read more

The staff here is incredible. Everyone I interacted with was warm, caring and knowledgeable. I had to go in two days in a row- first for a diagnosis and then a follow up and additional shots. The first visit I was in and out in about 2.5 hours including blood work. The second visit ( on Thanksgiving day!) I was out in an hour. Don't go there! Horrible experience. Their computers were crashing all the time. They put me in a line for urgent care and told me there was one or two people ahead of me and five or six or seven people got him before I did. They lie. They cover up. They're terrible. Update: Once I got into see the doctor he was very nice and gave me what I wanted. Then he left the room saying he was going to write up some Scripps. I sat there for another half hour and nobody came back. I finally stood out in the hallway with my arms crossed and one of the nurses said can I help you. I said "it was only a script." And she walked away. Then she comes back 10 minutes later and said "oh your Scripps have been forwarded to the pharmacy. You could go." Grrrrrrr. read more

The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because there are some good doctors here. In general, this place is totally inconsistent. Some days you can hardly wait at all. Other days, you can wait an hour. Some days, tests will be given easily and results will be delivered when they say they will. Other days, you have to hound them for test results. Some of the doctors are great. Others don't give a damn. My latest visit was the worst though. I went in for a pelvic ultrasound. I've had one before so I know they don't have to be traumatic. This time was awful. Over 48 hours later, I still feel traumatized. I suffered pain in four different ways during this test. The woman administering the test was obviously very inexperienced so she had a second woman helping her. Neither one of them paid any attention to the fact that I was in pain, and did nothing to help me through it. My husband was with me, and trying to help, so he can attest to the utter apathy they showed. I am utterly disgusted. I would change health providers were it not for the fact that we intend to leave the state soon. This is now my third attempt to communicate to DaVita about my recent visit. They have not responded to a phone call or an instant message so far. read more

I scheduled my first shot for the COVID-19 vaccination and scheduling was easy. When I showed up late in the day I went to the wrong building 6533, I was supposed to go to 6515 building. When I got to the right building the staff was very pleasant and had a great system going. I was in and out in 30 minutes, to include my 15 minute wait time. This crew was pleasant and professional and made it super easy! I recommend them for your vaccinations. read more

Went in for a urinalysis for a new job. Check in at 950 am and was told that I'd have to wait at least 15 mins. I said OK, that's fine. And advised the staff member that I really had to urinate right then and there. She said She would let them know. 10:20 am... still waiting... to be called upon and let the staff member know again that I still had the urgency to urinate. 10:30 am still waiting... 10:40, I couldn't hold a full bladder any longer and ended up leaving Mind you there was about 7 patients in the waiting area, all of them had gotten called upon except for me! read more

Today I was a patient of Dr. Baptist's, I came in with flu like symptoms, vomiting, chills etc. while I did not wait in the waiting room long it took more then 45 minutes to be seen once back in a waiting room. I had previously been in to see my OBGYN that day as I am 12 weeks pregnant. She wanted a rapid flu test to be completed by a doctor to rule out the flu so I went to have the test done at the urgent care. Once seen by Dr. Baptist it took another 30 minutes for a nurse to come into my room and simply swab my nose. Nurses continued to pass my room with my door open seeing how ill I was feeling but non the less put no rush on my orders. After 15 minutes they had the results and rather then consulting me proceeded to call my OBGYN. It wasn't until I walked out of my room that I actually got my results. Having now sat in the office for more then 2 hours I was feeling much better but they never would have known that as they did not come and consult with me. At the end i was sent home with an antibiotic. I can not believe that you would leave a sick pregnant woman waiting to have a simple test completed for over 2 hours. What should have taken 15 minutes left me frustrated and wanting to NEVER return to this urgent care. Lesson learned, you MUST be your own advocate when going to an urgent care, these people do not know you, they do not know your history, they try to over diagnose you and send you home with a bunch of meds. I am so disappointed with the treatment i received I will never recommend this office or this doctor to anyone in the future. read more

I had a horrific experience. I called to make an appointment as a new patient. I had to call twice. The scheduler, Sue, was so rude I cancelled the visit and made an appointment with another doctor. The staff was kind but the overall experience was very unsatisfactory. I never received my CBC and urinalysis results. When I called in to ask about them and the three referrals I was given, I was told the results were fine, that I'd hear from the referred providers soon and that I needed a follow up appointment with the PCP in 6-12 months. The next day I received a letter saying I needed to schedule an appointment to review the results of labs. After three weeks, I drove to the doc's office still not having heard from the three referred offices nor having received my lab results. I got copies of my lab results and referrals. The referrals had the names of the doctors and dates my insurance approved the request. How can I trust a health provider that can't even send out lab results and referrals? read more

I will avoid this after-hours facility at all costs in the future. The two girls at the front desk were rude and told me it was an hour and a half wait. Then once I was taken back (30 min later) I was treated as if I was "bothering" them. I was there for a sore throat and low grade fever (I had surgery four days before for something unrelated) and wanted to be sure I didn't have strep. The doctor had no bedside manner and was questioning my pain as if I was a junky just there for meds!! (Hello! I already have pain meds due to my surgery.) 20 minutes later I was given a mouth rise, told to drink more water and sent home. A little compassion from the staff would have made this visit a little less awful. :/ Edited to add: Five days later the nurse called to tell me I did in fact have strep and called in a prescription. The clinic on Barnes is the worst, the medical assistant cant even send a fax with all the information to the proper place so you can get care!!! This not only happened once or twice, I gave them 3 chances to get it right I even talked to Dr Kunstle about it. He said he would have his assistant on it so I could get care P/T evaluation for my mom. Well guess what I followed up on the call right in the office and the Physical therapy didn't get the fax? My mom is 82 so I guess just because your old you don't get care!!! I would not go to this clinic, follow up is terrible too!! You get a blood test after you see the DR. Until your next appt 3 months down the road!!! My thyroid had an issue, the pharmacy called for a refill I got the same dose??? So where is patient care? On the last visit the computers were down couldn't schedule next appointment. The phones don't get answered when they transfer you to talk to Dr. or assistant there is no answering machine what so ever This is the way Corporate medicine treats it patients I would suggest you go somewhere else!!!! read more

The staff, from the moment I called, to scheduling, through my several appointments, and my personal follow-up from my doctor, was amazing! Most horrible patient care I have ever experienced. Dr does not call back with tests results and find out via mobile app of a serious medical condition. Call and email multiple times and still cannot get a call back. Call for a sleep study that was supposed to be scheduled 3 weeks ago and Amanda from authorization says it was just submitted, when I asked the reason she said because there are other people ahead of you and we only have one person. Disgusted with the lack patient care and responsiveness- nothing good has happened since this facility moved from CSHP. I will be looking for another doctor and care facility. read more

I have been a patient (pc doctor cassie chen) for about 6 years. Optum health service Woodland park co. Their refilling of drugs sucks. It takes about 2 minutes to do. I have been trying for 3 weeks to get a drug refilled. If it is possible stay away from Optum in Woodland park co. Plus most of the doctors are like robots. Don't seem to be interested in the paying clients. read more

This review is for the Davita Urgent care at Medical Center Point. I happen to like this facility. Have used it on occasion over 2 years with only one negative experience other than the ones I am reviewing. My insurance plan charges a $30 co-pay. If you get a specialist they bill me for that doctor which is higher than the the $30 Urgent Care co-pay listed on my insurance card. I take issue with that since they pick the doctor I don't. It has happened to me twice now. Last time I told them I got the same doctor that is considered a specialist. I asked them not to bill me under her but they did it anyway. Said I will owe those bills in the future if it is a specialist. read more

Very slow horrible service @ the urgent care. They DO NOT care about their patients what so ever, neither does the so called patient advocacy division. UPDATE: CSHP has totally kicked my mother out of all services because I've attempted to call patient advocacy. Now my mother can no longer go to her primary care doctor. The minute I mentioned them being racist & classist they quit corresponding with me....go figure. I'm thankful she will now look for a new doctor, but this company has VERY BAD business practices. Please reconsider choosing this organization for your medical needs. Recently my mother has found a much better doctor that doesn't treat her like she doesn't matter. Sad to say I am Davita employee and I am so upset with the service before any tests run on me a doctor who never introduced himself just walks didn't knock and tells me oh you seem fine. Mine you I came to them because my cardiologist directed me to because of SOB chest pains fatigue n ride side numbness. Fast forward blood work comes back and my D--Dimer elevated ok next CT came back normal Doctor comes back still don't know his name sits down and says well everything is normal. So why is my D-Dimer elevated then he change to positive explaining it could just be a head cold. Right there I'm done asking ok do I get discharged papers or anything like I'm basically asking questions and dismissing myself because I guess they don't do that for you. No one ask how I was doing how's my pain and numbness except for the techs who took me for X-rays and CT that's why I give it one star. I can't that's the care we are giving read more

Dr.Baptiste was very unprofessional and condescending. She checked my leg reflexes for back pain. She never even touched my back and area were the pain was. She talked about a steroid pill or injection, and toradol. I asked her a few questions about my reaction to anti-inflammatories and I decided to get the toradol and the steroid injection. She told me I'd be getting an x-ray also with the injections and left the room. Almost an hour and a half went by and she came back in the room. She then told me the X-ray showed nothing wrong then asked me what I expected out of the visit. Like I had arterial motive. I answered I liked to know why my back and leg hurt, she stated if I needed further testing I should have went to the ER. She also stated I told her I didn't want the toradol and that she ordered the steroid after she left the room. Then she didn't show back up for almost 1 1/2 hours. I walked out of the room several times to check why I was waiting so long, but there was no one there that helped me. Her bedside manor was awful and she was very accusatory. I was so upset I walked out without getting the injection even though I was in severe pain. I'm sad I had to even give her a one star. How very uncaring, save your time and money. read more

Thay are quick to schedule the tests you need. But they sure are not in a hurry to get your test results to you. This has happened twice to me now. The first one was an ultrasound on my neck, After waiting two weeks for the results I called them and gave them hell as to why it took so long to get my results. Absolutely horrible. You make an appointment and wait more than the walk-ins... Then left in a room for another hour. This is the worst service I have ever seen, and that's from a health care provider for 20 years! Btw... I also witnessed a patient pleading for them to see his daughter who looked really sick. They said a pediatrician was not here today. He looked horrified. Thank goodness a pediatric nurse was in the waiting room and sent them to another facility. Her guess was scarlet fever..., holly Molly. Get me out of here! Beth, thank you for your quick reply. I assure you that I understand that It is a "walk-in clinic". You are an urgent care. By making an appointment and receiving your text saying "Hello, it's time to show up at approximately 1:05 pm. Check with the front desk when you arrive, at least 10 mins before your visit time" to me meant that you were pretty much running on time. Because of this I made sure to be there when you asked. ( actually was another 10 minutes early just in case). I was doing fine with the first delay (hour 1, again, understanding that my case may not be first priority). However, waiting in a room, well a cast room, with no one visiting to tell me any kind of status for at least 40 minutes was extremely frustrating. I will say that the doctor, nurse, and pharmacy were kind and helpful, and the pharmacy was really fast. I do however don't want other readers to think that they will be in and out because of your appointment times, or texts. Today they meant nothing. Also, the scene with the child in the waiting room was a bit too much for most of us there to watch. This was my experience this week, not saying that it is others. I just sat in the waiting room for over two hours and was never brought back. When I went to get my copay back, no one even cared. They didn't ask what was wrong, tell me how much longer it would be, nothing. I showed up at 4:30pm on a Monday and have no idea why it would take so long. Hearing laughing and non professionalism from the back wasn't helpful, either. I was there because I didn't feel good, pain and fever from a sinus infection. I fell asleep in the waiting room. I go to CSHP for my regular care, but when I called to get into my physicians assistant there was no availability for same day, there never is. I haven't seen an MD in the many years that I have gone to them. I have great insurance and have no idea why I continue to go to CSHP. read more

I could have never imagined having a colonoscopy could be such a positive experience! The admission was relatively quick and then the nurse and anesthesiology and Dr Garza were so positive and informative and friendly! I requested a written script be mailed to me from my eye exam that I had earlier in the year. After waiting two weeks and still not receiving it, I called back to see why I had not yet received it. The gal that I spoke to read notes in my account and said that they had been trying to reach me and have left four messages indicating that I needed to have a refraction prior to being given a written script. I never received a phone call or message from them and asked her what number they had been calling and she couldn't tell me. I asked that a message be left for whomever was trying to reach me to give me a call back. The next day I got a message from Deana and I tried to return her phone call and the gal that I spoke to in their scheduling area wouldn't let me speak to her or leave a message for her. She simply kept stating that I needed to make an appointment for a refraction and when I asked her to explain what a refraction is...she couldn't. I told her that I had an appointment earlier in the year and why wasn't a refraction done at that time? Very disappointed in this office and I plan on requesting my records and will definitely not be returning. Where is friendly, helpful and caring employees? Not here at this office. read more

Let me start by saying that I've been one of the first patients of dr. Olivier since he joined CSHP and I still believe that he is one of the best physicians in the area. But last couple of years I have had nothing but issues with getting the health insurance claims paid every time I went to see him. From putting in the wrong codes, to charging for preventive care visits (because I "talked to the doctor for too long" and it was considered another appointment) etc. If it wasn't for dr. Olivier I would have chosen a different provider a lot sooner. The most recent issue I had was that they said they would not be able to schedule my annual physical with until March next year (and I called in mid August). They recommended me to see a different physician at this location if need the appointment sooner, which I did. But even though they made the recommendation, they didn't put in the "referral" which was required by my insurance. Now I have been dealing with them and I will have to pay the total cost out of my pocket, because they are saying I should have requested the referral myself. I do not know all the nicks and nacks of the insurance policy and they don't have time to check policy of their patients (that's exactly what CSHP accounting person told me) and I have to pay 100% of the cost for the preventive care by myself. The worst part of the whole story was that said dr. Olivier has not been in the office, even though he came out of his office while I was there and he even asked me how come I didn't come see him... Unless you are willing to spend endless hours on the phone with CSHP accounting and your insurance company I would encourage you to take your business somewhere where they actually care about their patients/customers and don't mind checking with the insurance before they send you a bill. read more

I went with my daughter to the OB at the office on Barnes, the NP named Mo was AMAZING. She made my daughter who is a first time mom feel comfortable and much less anxious about having a baby. She was honest and informative and comforting. Can't ask for better than that. The receptionists were a bit aloof and kind of acted like it was an interruption to help us but Mo...she made things much better. read more

I went to the CSHP Urgent Care facility on 21st St. in Colorado to have my son's hand looked at thinking it was broken. I was told the visit was $125 and that the X-ray would be billed later - estimated around $70-$80. I was given several forms to sign as one always does at the Dr. My understanding was that these were HIPAA type forms. I received the bill for the X-Ray later for $70 and promptly paid that. Then about another week later I received a bill for $221 stating that was the cost of my visit and the $125 I paid up front was a "down payment". This was NEVER explained to me by the front desk person or when I called initially asking how much it would cost. I was told that my cost would be $125 plus the cost of the X-ray. When I called about this the lady said I signed some waiver explaining this. Gotcha! I will not go to this facility again. I may have signed the form in the midst of my emergency so they have me on a technicality but they misled me about the cost. read more
