My outdoor furnace stopped working and I called them to fix it. Then another person came out from R & H to look at replacing the furnace and decided it was too dangerous to remove this outdoor furnace in the winter. Suddenly they found two heat exchangers available from the manufacturer and this would cost me $5,000 ish. This did not smell right to me so I didn't move forward. Then I received a bill for almost $500. There is no indication on their website nor verbally was I told of their charging for an inspection. I thought ithe charge was egregious. Stay away from this company or you'll find yourself with a bad outcome. Update- they came & took apart the furnace & said they would order the part. He didn't look at the evaporator coils inside or even put gauges on the system to see how much refrigerant was left. Had he done that, he would have seen the oil stained hole in the evaporator coil and there was very little refrigerant left in the system. The low pressure was the reason the compressor wouldn't kick on, it wasn't even burned out. Due to his incorrect diagnosis, the warranty company denied my claim. He actually called me a retard!
