She works impeccably well with mixed aged children and [somehow] gets them to care for one another - not just the usual emphasis on individual worth that we tend to cherish so much. Thank you, Sonya, for all you do!

Sonya has a gift with children. She's patient, thoughtful and helps kids grow into their talent while always keeping it fun and being inclusive of everyone's age, experience and skill. My daughter has attended several different drama programs but she says EA is by far her favorite! In the summer program, kids get to enjoy a well rounded day of acting, singing, dancing and crafting. Plus if they do the extended day, they get a lot of one on one coaching. It's a great mixture of cooperation and individualized attention. Thank you Sonya for providing kids with such a wonderful environment to learn, grow and have fun!

The Fenians performed and they were EXCELLENT. Other than that... nothing. Prices: First...They bang you for $8 to park. In a DRY, DUSTY, WIND-BLOWN lot, where you'll be SERIOUSLY sorry you washed your car the day before. By the time we left, the car looked like we'd taken a safari through Kenya. NEXT: IT'S A FLEA MARKET. A SMALL flea market, at that. Not even a renaissance-type fair! Nothing alluding to our Celtic history, other than a small handful of re-enactment-clad men at The Fenians show. At least at renaissance fairs there's jousting, stage plays, games, rides, etc! This was nothing more than a small flea market. If we WANTED to go to a flea market, the amazing Rose Bowl Flea Market, one of the largest in the country, is only $9 each (senior rate) with FREE PARKING!! This "Irish" Fair held us up for $16 each. Yes, S I X T E E N dollars each (senior) It's TWENTY regular rate. And when I say 'held us up' I mean as in 'robbed.' AND...BTW.........................CASH ONLY. Don't have cash? Lucky you! The operators of the "Irish Fair' are anything BUT "fair"!!!!! There's an ATM right there at the ticket table. We can get cash!! Good news, yes? WRONG. Charging $4.95 SURCHARGE. YES. You read that one correctly. Now....try to remember the last time you used an ATM, even in a hotel, and you were charged FOUR NINETY FIVE for the privilege. I can't. Not even The Bellagio charges that much. Think about this....WHY do they charge this unethical, usurious, Mafia-shylock-rate? Because they have you at a MAJOR disadvantage! They've GOT you where they want you. Let me explain...the sheer DRIVE INTO THE PARK...once you enter Eldorado Park, you're still 9 or 10 minutes away from "the fair"...following a circuitous empty road until you find the dusty, wind-blown parking lot. So, while you're kicking yourself in the pants as you're staring, incredulously, at the $4.95 surcharge they're banging you with...you realize that it makes NO sense whatsoever to even THINK about an ATM somewhere outside the park. This is the ONLY time-sensitive option the "IRISH FAIR" is giving you. Pay the $4.95 or you're obviously not going in. Cash only. We call this FINANCIAL RAPE since they absolutely have you OVER A BARREL. There's simply NOWHERE else to go if you still want in. Then once we GOT in, well....as I said...a thorough waste of time AND money. OK....let's re-cap.....So far --- $32 entry + $8 parking...they've got us for $40 bucks before we even walked in. And if you're NOT a senior, they banged you for $20/ticket + $8 parking. Next: Food. $8 for a boat of FRENCH FRIES. HUH? Yes. You heard that correctly. For a few sliced POTATOES! Need I say amore? Next: Booths. Not that many, gotta tell ya. Again...IT'S A FLEA MARKET. And a SMALL one at THAT. NOTHING MORE. This is NOT a 'Fair' like you might be used to (Renaissance)...no games, rides, "Fair" people dressed in costume.... Now, if you WANT a FLEA MARKET...once again I say...THE ROSE BOWL...probably 100 times LARGER (NO EXAGGERATION) than THIS disingenuous financial scam and The Rose Bowl has FREE PARKING!!! AND...we arrived near noon. By 3:00 we'd decided we'd had enough of this sham. And we noticed that MANY of the booths were already PACKED UP AND GONE. Empty tents, so we couldn't even tell what WAS being hawked there. BUT.........the event ran until 7PM!! Save your money. This rip-off ALMOST made us embarrassed to be Irish. We were born and raised in New York, and the Irish-owned businesses we dealt with all our lives never attempted to bang us as bad as these alleged 'Irish' did. BTW....I wanted to write this last Sunday night right after we got home. My wife, always the practical one, told me to wait a few days, thereby avoiding any 'knee-jerk' reaction since that wound was still very fresh. So I did. And after 5 days, yes, I'm STILL that pissed about being ripped off. I'm SO proud of my lineage. Don't insult me with this sorry excuse for collecting money. Once again, The Fenians were excellent. If you haven't heard their music, you should. But if you're not really attached to your MONEY, by all means hand it over to the operators of this scam. Personally, I'd rather burn it. I'd save gas and wear & tear on the car, as well as ANOTHER car wash.

We visited Premier Dance and met the owners Mr. David and Mrs. Renee. Right away they took my daughter under their wing and created classes for her to start dancing again. They are a breath of fresh air and extremely talented duo. My daughter is now taking classes 3 days a week and we love all of the different teachers and genres they have to offer. Wish this could have been our studio when she was little due to the extremely professional training she is receiving now, But happy that her teen dance years will be with Premier Dance.

My daughter was a part of another much larger program in Long Beach for 4 years prior to coming to this ballet school in Los Alamitos. After last season she did not want to return to ballet. She wanted to quit. We truly honor our kids wishes and so I was ready to let it go but then I did some research and found LABS. So far my daughter LOVES it. If you truly do not love the art I believe that you are never going to push yourself to your potential. Renee teaches my daughter and she is so kind, thoughtful and most importantly invested in my daughter being the best version of herself. She takes the time to correct her without making her feel bad about herself. She respects where she is at. To have a studio like this is Los Al is very rare - their values align with ours and to have a role model that my daughter can identify is worth its weight in gold. I am excited that my daughter is finding joy in ballet again and I hope that she continues for years. Our experience at our old institution was so impersonal and often times rooted in fear of not following rules or asking for flexibility. To come here is so refreshing but more so what the world needs more of - a place to feel like you belong. Thank you Renee for allowing my child to be a child and bringing the joy of dance back to her life. Running a small business like this is not easy but adds so much value to our communities and it is equally important to support them back.
