I have spent a month or so with online dating. My opinion is that it is a scam. Then I was introduced to Orange County Singles. A personal, professional group that interviews with three professionals for several hours. Nikki, Quinn and Laurie are the most warm and disarming gals I've ever met. I am no push over. My third date hit me like an express train. I'm no kid, a retired business man. I've been married twice, and had given up on finding a soul mate. Well I have, and we will be together always. During our consultation, she was very thorough and took the time to understand exactly what I am looking for. This place is a total scam . Nikki and Quinn do not disclose last names .They don't abide by their own contract . I was charged and paid their $400 arbitration fee even though I prevailed in arbitration . O.C.S. appealed the arbitration decision,and it was dismissed but they still did not give me the refund for breaking our contract and setting me up with a married person who still lived with their spouse . The judge confirmed and granted my arbitration award and still OCS will not pay . Now I still need to file the proposed judgement before I can legally try to collect . In some cases our system can be broken and unjust. Do yourself favor and steer clear of this scam company .They offer no transparency. read more

The absolute worst dating site . They are not transparent and they are dishonest. I became a member last June 7 2024. Paid my $5000 membership within the first week. I was set up with a married man who lived with his wife. According to their own contract, this is a member that would not be to eligible .I requested a refund within a week of payment which I never received. Instead, because there is an arbitration clause in their contract, we arbitrated they did not pay their arbitration fee and I was charged $400 for their fee. After eight months of arbitration, I prevailed, but they still never paid. Two years later I'm still going to court filing judgments for the judge to sign so I can continue on and legally collect what they owe me. This place is a nightmare. You are required to write a review after your date which I did with complete honestly and they threatened me if I did not take it down right away... after I just paid them $5000? Are they freakin crazy or what? Also, their four and five star reviews are completely false.. Nikki and Quinn write their own reviews and request that the new members write an excellent review right upfront without even experiencing their service. First clue ... no last names ? I hope no one could be that desperate to join this dating site . read more

My detail review was taken down based upon a false claim by OC Singles. Research and do extensive homework on this company, google the owners, try to get last names and actual emails for Nikki and Quinn. This is a dangerous and shady company. It is scary how inept they are, and calculated dishonesty. IF you elect to try them.......//Do not pay by cash or check. Credit card only for protection. Lies, lies and lies. Very sad how dishonest they are. Do your homework. Look far far back on ALL Yelp posts........Google the owners and their backgrounds. Google owners The Yetenekian Family, Jumpstart Management. If you dig really far back they have had very bad editorial for their business practices in various cities they operate in. Also note every review starts out praising the day to day twosome...Niki and with practically the exact same opening remarks. No where do you see any mention of successful follow thru with actual matches, only how nice they are. Positive posts before any process has begun or been carried to fruition. If you are a busy professional who is short on time, if you are tired of searching at bars, online dating, and just waiting for "something to happen", I highly recommend Julia. Worst case scenario, you are right where you started. Best case, you find the love of your life! What do you have to lose? ;) Julia has different service options for matchmaking include being a paying client, where she will make finding a match a priority and find you multiple dates (if needed) within your specifications. She also works with other matchmakers in the area to help find your perfect match. The other option is being a member in her database for 1 year, which is $210. So! How the process works: first, you must check out her website and fill out a signup form. This will probably take you around 10 minutes, and asks the basic questions about you (education, do you smoke, want children etc. ), and a few short questions about what you are looking for in a partner. Also, this asks you to attach 2 photos. No selfies! If you have no good photos, worry not. She has a photographer that can take some good shots for your profile if you decide to sign up. From here, you wait for an email and possibly get on a call. Once you interact with Julia, and if she decides to take you on as a client, she let's you know that she will inform you once she has someone for you or is meeting the database members. The 1-on-1 meetings are approximately 30 minutes at her office in Mission Viejo. This meeting is for her to get to know you, see what your personality is like, and see what you look like since photos can sometimes be misleading (sometimes people look way better in person, and visa versa). Originally I went in wanting to be a paying client, but Julia was very honest and straightforward with me (which I love), and told me that she did not have a lot of options in my age range in her database at the moment, and did not want to just take my money. This spoke volumes to me, and showed that she is not in this business just for money, and that she truly has integrity. So from here, I went with the 1-year database. And I'll be honest, I felt that it could be months before I was matched with someone, I did not know what to expect. But boom! Within 2 weeks of meeting her, Julia had a wonderful match for me (whom I am still seeing). The representative that met with me in Irvine was genuinely friendly and a good listener. However, don't give them your work number because they will call you on lunch break and that is not an appropriate conversation at all to have with them in your cubicle. UNLESS you happen to have a closed door office where you can talk with them quickly, it is not worth risking getting in trouble. It's Just Lunch says they screen their candidates and won't sign you up unless they feel like they have actual good matches for you. I can't foresee them turning people away unless they were creepy. I also felt reluctant to be set up with someone who is divorced and had a kid and even said so, but they were encouraging me to meet up with said candidate. Besides relocation, that was part of why I felt the need to put their services on hold for 9 or so months which they enabled me to do. The guy they introduced me to was nice enough, around my age range, but unfortunately we did not develop the kind of chemistry that brings you to dating exclusively. He was kind enough to treat me to 2 great meals and accompany me shopping, even though he was a busy, 3rd year law school student. As for It's Just Lunch Corporate, who I tried to get permission to waive the $200.00 to transfer my membership fee from OC to Boston, ha. Did they get back to me from 3.5 weeks ago (almost a WHOLE month)? Hell no! Not yet! And for paying the exorbitant fee above, I EXPECT MORE! We were then bullied by the insurance adjuster who convinced my fiancée that since he was found "at fault", they owed us nothing. We contacted a well-advertised billboard lawyer who told us we had "no case" because he had been found "at fault." Feeling dejected at a low moment of exasperation, my fiancée signed a settlement agreement of $10,000 as he was told "that's all you're going to get because you were found at fault." I literally got home :20 after he signed. I was furious and this let to a lot of fights between us. I found John Rajee of RMD Law on Yelp as a lot of reviews said he handled "difficult situations." He was kind and professional but also understood human nature and the whole dilemma we faced- trying to get a contract invalidated AND attempt to re-settle with the insurance company. He also advised me on different ways MY auto insurance could help even though my fiancée was on a bicycle. Although John consulted other colleagues to discover ways to secure a better settlement, ultimately nothing could be legally done to get the settlement contract negated :( Unfortunately, my fiancée and I had to move forward with accepting the circumstance. Through all these developments, John kept advising us and was professional and thorough. He advised me as an experienced counselor and also just an honest guy who took the time to reassure me that basically it wasn't the end of the world. Frankly, I was very very angry with my fiancée over his moronic decision to sign, and speaking to John just honestly helped me move past my anger and put the whole bad situation behind me. I would absolutely recommend John and his colleagues to anyone seeking legal advisement, and I will definitely refer him to friends and family. These people should be in prison. Everything they do that seems "nice" is actually for their own agenda - it has nothing to do with you, your safety or any integrity. If they had any integrity and true business ethics and morality they would charge you a simple $50-100 file set up and then they would collect $100 for each match they made where you actually met the person. Go to the better business bureau for reviews and stories of the last 12 months (not so many cause of covid). The one star reviews here are the ones to believe (they will outline how they work and what they do to take you to the cleaners. They collect a massive amount of money from you as a sign up. Once they have the money they don't have to do anything. There is no longer an incentive to produce anything. They are lawyered up and they have no embarrassment and no shame over themselves and what they do to people whose faux pas is that they so dream of finding someone to share their life with that they are asleep at the wheel when they get reeled in for the slaughter by OC singles. They started in LA many years ago, originally their website gave details about the two asian gals behind its upstart - now the website is plane wrap with no information and the website for LA is identical to the one in OC. At that time only men paid their matchmaking services. They put out ads to get as many girls as possible to offer the men who paid. Sketchy abusive people. I had lost track of them until this morning when someone I know told me they paid OC singles an astronomical amount of money. Their paying client base now is primarily women... Maybe the men wised up and ran like hell? Maybe they discovered that older widowed women with a dream of finding another man before they die was easier prey as they are out of practice for recognizing sugar coated lies and chocolate deception through and through. If you have money to hire these people use the money to hire a personal assistant to work for you to find a good partner. This assistant will be kind, older, eyes wide open to the tricks of criminals such as these, sees the truth and isn't scared to point out the truth respectfully and to make sure you are making choices and decisions to keep you safe. Such as VOIP number, never having a person at your home, not going away with that person until they have passed the 6-12 month mark and the approval of close close friends and family... etc. Unfortunately I can't share the story, but even if I did you wouldn't believe it because you wouldn't want to believe that such horrible people exist and are still in business. After trying a couple other methods, I reluctantly emailed my request for more information to OC Singles. I received back an immediate reply that referred me to Laura who was friendly, courteous and helpful. The feature of background checks gave me assurance that online dating does not have. I did internet checking myself but that is just as time consuming as poring through the profiles of scores of prospects. I received a match from Sharman a couple weeks later that has turned out to be very special. I had only one referral prior to the one to whom I am not engaged to be married. Without Orange County Singles, it is highly unlikely that we would have met. My first visit to OCS was brief , but very pleasant! Nikki was the only person that i met upon my visitation and she carefully explained the program and the fees. There was NO pressure to make a decision at that moment. She sent me on my way with a plan of action and told me to call her with a decision. I found her extremely cordial and very attentive . She surely took an interest in me in order to find a successful match. In all honesty, she has a special ability to make you feel good that is 100% genuine. Upon my return to her office in order to sign up she presented a very caring and thoughtful demeanor. David lied and said he paid for my parking and took cash from Nikki without having any receipt to back it. David was clearly lying. Biggest scam I've ever come across in my entire life. Yes, they are friendly and cute, but don't you have to be when you hustling the people your trying to sign on?? I can not regret doing business with a company as much as I regret doing it with OC Singles. As always, the screenshot of the abuse was sent to my contact at the Orange County District Attorney's office to add to the open file. I have blocked and reported Christine for the disgusting content of the message. She is not only adding to the case being built at the OCDA, but she's adding to the lawsuit I'm now considering for harassment. The only good thing I can see is that the level of desperation in her messaging and responses to negative reviews seems to be amping up, which shows me they are feeling the pressure. Nikki is a wonderful person to work with. You can tell she loves what she does and she is good at it. She not only works hard for the company but she also works hard for her clients. Nikki is in tune with your needs and desires. Match making is a slow prosses. I have faith that Nikki will keep my best interest in mind and find me, my wonderful Mr. Right. My favorite colloquialisms are "Patience is a virtue, that few possess", and "good things come, for those who wait". I say, "you don't know what you are missing until it arrives". In my experience, I have found Orange County Singles to be quite a unique business. No matter how busy they are, or how chaotic it is in their office, they really want you to take the time to read totally through their contracts, so you understand thoroughly what you are signing. I also like how they are able to find a price that works within your credit card limit. Even though you have given them a description of the type of person you're interested in, they want you to trust their matchmaking skills. Therefore, take that time out of your busy schedule to meet with people that are not your usual type and are way out of your comfort zone. My experience with Orange County Singles and Niki and her team has been nothing less than professional, warm and caring about finding the right match for me.
