I was referred here by a friend. She raved about Dr Toloei. I ended up making an appointment with Dr Hsu since she was in network with my insurance. Parking seems a little tough. I would show up early just in case. Check in process was pretty simple. Few pages to fill out. I did wait a little while over my appointment time but it was easily forgivable after seeing the amount of time Dr Hsu spends with patients (which makes sense why she can run behind). She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. She didn't rush me at all and answered all my questions and was very thorough in her examination. Also a huge plus (because I've heard it's an issue with other offices) she wasn't pushy at all about extra treatments or products. She suggested things that could help but it definitely felt informational and not salesy. She even gave me a sample of skincare to try. The ladies working at the office were also very cordial and worked well together. Seems like a nice place to work. I definitely recommend this office. read more

Dr. Sarah Stanowicz is the best dermatologist I've ever encountered, and I've seen dozens. I absolutely adore her. She's incredibly well informed, and she keeps up to date on all the latest treatments and research. She knows the answer to pretty much any question or problem you can think of. She's incredibly generous with her time. I'm writing this in the parking lot after our appointment because I'm so touched by the amount of time and effort she puts into her work. She's also such a delightful and charming person, which takes the edge off any difficult procedures or conversations. I've been going to her for years. The whole process of making an appointment to being seen by the dermatologist was seamless. New client forms are available online to print, saving check-in time. My encounter with my dermatologist was great! He listened to my concerns and offered me options for treatment. I was prescribed a brand name medication that my insurance does not cover and was given a sample pack in the mean time. He reassured me that it will be filled and not to worry. With their diligence and effort, I received a text message the following day from a speciality pharmacy, notifying me that my medication was authorized--all I had to do was sign up for delivery! I came to Orange Dermatology about 3 years ago, I was depressed about my acne, hence I started looking for a Dermatologist around the area. I read good reviews about Dr. Hsu so I made a point to see her. 3 years later, I can say that I am happy with the result. I don't have acne anymore and skin is 10x better than it was before. Dr. Hsu was rushing through my appointment and didn't want to do a treatment because the time was up for my visit! I found this group on Yelp and decided to give them a try. I had been going to a derm that was far from my house, and while they were very nice, my skin condition was not clearing up. I was able to make an appointment at Orange Dermatology that worked for my schedule the same day and saw Dr. Touloei. He was very kind, listened to my concerns, and had a great bedside manner. He reviewed my options with me and gave me prescriptions. He also gave me free samples of one that I could not pick up from my regular pharmacy. And he gave me suggestions about general care to improve my skin issues. His prescriptions have thus far worked and have improved my issues greatly. I now wish I would have gone to him first instead of wasting months with the other dermatology group. read more

Unfortunately I am new Client trying to schedule a appointment for some serious skin issue going on I have new great insurance and they were recommended. They Scheduled my appointment out 30 Days than called me twice before my appointment one week before scheduled and called twice and stated oops Doctor overbooked again and wanted to schedule me out another month. If you have urgent skin issues I wouldn't recommend trying to make an appointment here, I will take my good insurance else where read more

I had a telecall appt in order to have a skin creme prescription refilled. Waited two weeks. Day before received a msg to pls confirm appt and be ready few minutes early. I waited 30 minutes, called and they said it was an entirely different day and time. Dr working ( returning calls, refilling scripts, etc.) One day per week. Terrible management of the office. But boy, they even called me the day before to make sure my insurance was going to pay...only invested in the buck, could care less about the patient. I had an excision done on my ribs right below my right breast by Dr Dangaran in April of 2017. The procedure went smoothly until I received the stitches. The lidocaine had worn off before the stitches were done, but I just gritted my teeth because the doctor had stated she was very particular about minimizing the amount of scarring. I had a row of sutures below the skin and then stitches on the surface. I was told to wait two and a half weeks for healing before coming back in to remove the stitches. My skin had an adverse reaction to the bandaging they used, and was actually cracking and bleeding around the perimeter of the wound because of the material or adhesive. But the actual incision seemed to be healing well! When I went in to have the stitches removed however, the medical assistant laid me down and removed the bandage and said it would be quick. I would like to think I have a very high pain tolerance, but when she started to remove the sutures, I was sobbing. She couldn't get the sutures out because they were too tight. I told her to please just leave them and I'd pull them when they were healed, but she told me she would try one more time. She had to hold my abdomen and pull, and the tissue that had already healed ripped back open. I actually yelled out in the office. The wound was reopened with no stitches, it became infected and the scar is now three times the size it was initially. I had to get an antibiotic for the wound because it was leaking fluid, and to this day the scar is in constant pain. I am beyond disappointed in my treatment at this facility. Would never recommend. read more

I am very happy to update my not so positive experience with Orange Dermatology. I returned today and saw Dr. Sara. It was our first meeting. She is the happiest and most upbeat doctor to have an office visit with. She listened to my concerns and was more than happy to correct what I was unhappy with. She doesn't know what the lack of communication was when I called the office to voice my concerns with a previous visit and I am sure that it will be addressed. I recently went to Dr HSU for Botox for a drooping lid & brow plus frown furrows & after 5 days I am so impressed with the results. Dr HSU advised me as to my expectations so I was not expecting too much but I am so thrilled with the results. This my first review had to join to do this. I do not recommend Dr. Jennifer Hsu. She is rude and not experienced enough. Don't waste your time and money. She talks over you and doesn't listen to your concerns. She doesn't know enough to diagnose and help patients. She wants to have you waste time and money trying new creams for acne to see what works. Who has time to keep coming back and spending countless money on creams. I took my son for his acne. First appointment, they had us wait an hour before we saw her. Second appointment she was rude when I told her we wanted to find something that worked and not keep trying multiple creams. She kept talking over me and didn't let me finish my question or concerns. Extremely disrespectful and rude. Horrible bedside manner. She is inexperienced and I am not going to keep coming back every 4 weeks for her to guess what works. I've been seeing Dr. Melissa Watcher for years and she's the best. I've been wanting to get a peel or something more than a facial, so I decided to see their aesthetician who is currently working in their main office off Chapman in Orange during Covid times. I met with Jonell who is wonderful! We had a consultation first and we talked about what my concerns with my face were and what she recommended. I can't say enough nice things about Jonell. She talked me through everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable through all of it. I am looking forward to going back in about 2 months and having another one. Orange Dermatology is excellent! Their office is beautiful & peaceful when you walk inside. Plus, there is no hospital parking garages or parking lots that you have to drive around looking for a parking space. There is always ample parking & you pull into your parking space - stress free! From the moment you walk in their office door, you feel welcome & know that you are going to be well taken care of. The ladies at the front office are great, Danielle is wonderful & Dr. Touloei is the greatest! During Covid I had a bump on my chest that started growing. I have a busy life so I put it aside. A month ago, it turned into a big problem - a huge cyst. Dr. Touloei has been extraordinary with my treatment! Then he asked me "When was your last skin cancer screening" & I said "Never". I am 60 years old, came from the era of baby oil, Hawaiian Tropic - with no sunscreen & my monthly membership to my tanning salon for years! This has now caught up with me & Dr. Touloei is now also treating me with my skin cancer. Dr. Touloei has a great vibe that he is here to take care of you & he does take care of you 100%! I asked my friends to recommend a dermatologist that had excellent bedside manner and was okay with a patient that's interested in holistic treatments whenever possible. Thank goodness someone mentioned, Dr. Sarah Stanowicz. The office was clean and busy. The front desk staff were organized and friendly. And let me tell you, the attitude of the front desk can make or break a clinic in my opinion. In this case, they were professional and welcoming. So far so good. When I met Sarah, she was kind, efficient and effective. She heard what my concerns were, what my preferences for treatment were and she offered options that reflected my goals. When it came time to treat me, she explained the process and described what I might feel. I felt respected. I felt safe. I felt confident that I was in good hands.
