Was given a collection date for next week, phoned today to check details so i could insure it before collection, was told it had not yet been delivered blaming Baileys main office/ bank holiday. Further phone calls ignored / unavailable to come to phone / day off. I phoned Baileys main office in Bristol to check if caravan was on way to Lowdhams, was told they had not even started building it yet. Managed to speak to some one at Lowdhams after many hours phoning, told them what they had said at Bristol, they then said i had got my dates mixed up,- that i was wrong about collection date ect. Oh no i have not ! oh no i am not ! Offered me an ex display caravan instead.. No sorry i ordered a new one, delivery date arranged. Bought awning ect to go with it, booked my holidays for week after delivery, sold my old van, changed my insurance.. all based on Lowdhams sales staff promises. They take your deposit, make false promises , and leave you to fume Trying to get my deposit back. will buy else where.

Each time with promises of its fixed properly now. In the end Anthony the manager promised he would search for a replacement and not make a profit on the sawp due to the hassle (breakdowns) I have had. This turned out to be a delay tactic for 9 months or more. Eventually I bought a replacement from Guy Willaims who managed to beat Athonys price by £2k. So much for his fairness, morals, intergrity, trust. Im amased how they have won any awards within in Perrys or landrover group for service, however Im sure they do very well on sales, because they certainly now how to lead you on with false promises, just hope that you dont need or rely on them to deliver.....I'll never go there again thats for sure. signed. not a copley employee or have any connection now...

However, after catching a cab and getting there it transpired the car had done over 250k. Later on when I examined the paper work at home it turned out to be an ex taxi.However, after being assured by the seller it is a reliable car and not clocked back I bought it. Touch wood been two months and runs fine. My only advice to would be buyers is to ask questions and if not satisfied don't undertake a long journey. Just keep asking questions until you are content. We arranged a viewing of a vehicle 2 weeks ago, that was advertised to have had a full mot and was ready to drive. This car on arrival had only 1 month remaining mot after being advertised with a full mot. I did request the most recent mot to look at the advisories, but it didn't seem available. On arrival of the viewing of the car, we immediately looked underneath of the car, as it was mentioned on the previous mot's, that the rear subframe and rear suspension components were corroded, there was an oil leak and that a wheel bearing was failing. On visual inspection of the rear underneath of the car you could immediately see that the exhaust was just hanging in place, the exhaust brackets had snapped from the corrosion, meaning the exhaust wasnt secure at the rear and the corrosion underneath the car was that bad I could pick away at spots around the car. We questioned the snapped exhaust brackets and we was told it would be fine to drive, this immediately put us off this vehicle. The man on the forecourt was then back and forth conversating with others inside the office, we was told a deposit could be left for the car and they then would get the work sorted on the car and rectify it for us, this is after being told on the phone previously they didn't accept deposits, etc. This was very misleading and a poor way to conduct business. This car clearly wasn't fit for the road, and was advertised as ready to drive, which it clearly wasn't. We was told that that a faulty wheel bearing the previous before the viewing was being replaced and rectified, we don't believe this work had been carried out as excuses where made that if we were to drive the car because of the new tyre it would sound loud on that side. The recent mot that was carried out 2 weeks after are viewing proves that the wheel bearing hasn't been replaced and rectified. The oil leak was also questioned and we was told it was just excess oil residue from previous servicing, there was now no oil leaks, this later mot again proves that there was still an oil leak. The most recent mot that was carried out 3 days ago,clearly this highlights that there was no mot 2 weeks ago. The new mot states that the faulty wheel bearing, and the oil leak have not been rectified after being told these issues had been resolved. Best advise is don't be blagged by these people.

Anyway I found quite a few things wrong with it and including blisters under the paint and ended up not wanting to buy, I politely stated I did not want to purchase and this resulted in him swearing in front of my daughter and stating I had wasted his time.
