Upon inquiring about this bill, I was spoken to in a very aggressive manner, and was provided no help to resolve the matter. Needless to say. I could not recommend this dentist any less.

Dr. Rizk is professional, patient, tells you how to do a procedure correctly, gives suggestions, and above all, has good " bed side manner" in which most dentists I have encountered do not show well when I go to the dentist. I've had terrible dental experiences started at a young age, a bandaid on a problem, eventually caught up to me as an adult. I'm very appreciative for the two years I have gone to Dr. Rizk, he has correctly taken care of my fillings on past dental mistakes ( currently, and most likely again if I do better on my dental hygiene), crown and implant issues, and has given me advice on what certain risks I can encounter because I am young and I should be aware the expectations of problems do not get fixed. I appreciate all feedback and he's always ready to answer if I have any questions or concerns. I heard a long time ago when business is far, it is worth it to see them because you are taken care of. The past few visits I have come on a jam packed Wednesday when teaching is done- I'm lucky the office can accommodate late hours and the drive is worth it to continue to maintain a healthier smile. I was told they accepted it and reassured that I had a good insurance. Nobody bothered to tell me the dentist was out of network. Had they told me, I never would have gone there. It got worse at the appointment. While my son was already being examined, I was told that I would have to pay in full and they would submit to insurance afterward. But nobody told me how much. Only after the treatment had already been extracted, as we were leaving, was I finally given the treatment plan with the charges. That is when I signed it and that is when I learned what I had to pay. By then, what choice did I have? The treatment was already done. And now, in response to my complaint, the office is claiming that they showed me the treatment plan and I signed it before treatment. That is simply not true. Their response makes that claim explicitly. They also admit in writing that they knew they were out of network with my insurance and that being out of network is an intentional business decision. Yet somehow I, the patient's mother who gave them all our insurance information in advance, was never told. I'm honestly disgusted by the whole experience. A family should be able to trust a dental office to be upfront about something as basic as whether they are in network and what treatment is going to cost before they treat you. I feel tricked, I lost a significant amount of money because of it, and their response afterward has only made me trust them even less.

Dr. Sniffen's prices are well below the competition. For $90 you get an initial check up and cleaning. Everyone else in town wanted between $120 and $250 for the same service! I ended up having to pay another $30 for the x-rays because my last ones were over a year old. I was very pleased with the cleaning and how the dental hygienist explained things to me. The staff was nice and courteous. I highly recommend this dental group's staff. The only caveat is that the office is a bit of a time warp, clean but well used.
