The office staff is extremely professional, the cleanest and most efficient dental office. They use the most up to date equipment and technology for cleaning, screening and whitening. The newest technology is being used for oral prevention/screening. My cleanings are extremely thorough and they keep up to date records in computerized systems. They take their time too, they don't rush the process. They document everything. I am in the process of some cosmetic dental work and everything is phased in, one step at a time approach. I even had older fillings replaced and my teeth look like I never had a cavity. I do have one area that will require dental surgery and Dr. G has a partnership with Surgeons whom are the best in their field. My mother had an emergency 6 months ago and Dr. G recommended his partner in Little Falls. She had a tooth extracted in minutes and was pain free in one day. Instead of listening, they argued with me, dismissed my concerns, and claimed I grind my teeth... something I've never been told before and simply isn't true. My child is also a patient here for orthodontic treatment, and the experience has been just as frustrating. After nearly every visit, there's an issue... wires poke her, come out of place, or brackets pop off. The expander was a complete disaster, falling out repeatedly to the point where we had to secure it ourselves with dental floss after the fourth time it broke. That's not acceptable, especially considering the amount of money we've paid for treatment. Worst of all, in cases of orthodontic emergencies, no one is ever available to help. The orthodontist only comes in once a month, which is absolutely absurd for a practice offering orthodontic services. There have been multiple situations that needed attention far sooner, and there was no solution. At the very least, there should be a qualified backup orthodontist or trained staff available for basic fixes. Between the dismissive attitude, the recurring issues with my child's braces, and the lack of emergency support, I truly regret choosing this place. I expected much better care, communication, and reliability... especially for the cost.

Ample parking is available in the rear, but there is also a bus stop nearby if public transportation is more your thing. Even better than the office is the people that work for this practice. The entire staff here is warm and welcoming, from the administrators at the front desk to the assistants. Dr. Shahmehdi, who owns the practice, took the time to meet with me (even though I am not his direct patient) during one of my appointments. Dr. Sperling, the pediatric dentist, even struck up a conversation with me after one of my appointments; everyone is so friendly! Dr. Paparella, who has been my attending dentist, has been nothing short of brilliant. Before beginning any procedure--no matter how big or small--she briefly explains what she is going to be doing and why. I feel like I've learned so much about dental care and am much more at ease during procedures. She also has excellent bedside manners, always cognizant of any issues her patients have and does everything in her power to alleviate any concerns. Most importantly, she always takes her time and works meticulously. It is very clear that she takes pride in her work and cares about her patients. The assistants are just as competent and caring. Special shoutout to Nicolle, who assisted Dr. Paparella on my last visit. She was able to use the suction hose without triggering my annoyingly persistent gag reflex.
