We came as a walk-in when all the picnic tables were full. One worker was kind and offered to do the tasting by one of their barrels until a table opened up. The other worker wasn't helpful or friendly. - Newtown granny 2020 - a bit more citrusy and mellow. We bought a bottle ($22.00) for home. - Century - Aurora 2020 - this was the same as last year (merlot). Slight off dry finish. Apparently, they use a different grape in each year's edition. - Goldie 2019 - their barrel aged cider. Aged in oak barrels. - Crabby apple - solid like last year's version. - Juice - still as good as we remember. Crazy that it's good to drink for up to 2 months. Decent ciders at C&G. Shared a flight ($10.00); semi-dry, blueberry, peach and raspberry. Semi-dry is still good (not too dry). Peach was the favourite of the three fruit ciders.

The haskap was interesting but paled in comparison to the raspberry. Always a relaxing time with good ciders at Nomad.

It's run by a husband-wife combo and located a short drive away from Dominion Cider. We dropped in on a Saturday morning (around 10:30am) and were the first customers to arrive. Service is friendly and they give you the full spiel/background of how their name come about (if you're into that). Cider tastings are $5.00/person but waived if you buy a bottle. They were completely sold out of their makin' a mint (mint, lemon and hibiscus) flavour. - Tasting - we were able to try three flavours. High n' dry is just as you'd expect. Hop on board was a touch hoppy. Modern miracle was everyone's winner from the bunch. - 4-Pack briefcase ($29.95) - we went with three modern miracle's and one hop on board bottle. It's slightly cheaper buying the briefcase compared to individually ($8.49). Always nice to see a new cidery open up but MRCC's flavours didn't enthral us.

Staff is friendly, amiable and very knowledgeable on their ciders. Tasting fee is $5.00/person and includes four pours. Each fee is waived with the purchase of a bottle. Their standard bottles (750mL) are $24.90 to $39.90 but this year, they had some new flavours ($12.90 for 375mL). They've even started selling fancy candles! - Pear charmat - this is their champagne style cider. Smaller bubbles and the driest of their offerings. Perfect to celebrate a special occasion. - Sparkling pear - their version of a prosecco cider. Larger bubbles meant a less dry, smoother finish. - Sparkling apple + pear - fruitier and a slightly creamier texture. - Sparkling rosé - this is our favourite of the bunch. Blackberry note really comes through. - White/red/black currant apple + honey ($12.90) - we bought three bottles to try each of their new currant ciders. Unique ciders at LPA that you'll be hard pressed to find elsewhere.
