    Coffee that never ran out

A 5 star experience from the moment we walked in and were warmly greeted. Service was unbeatable. Coffee was abundant which is exactly what we were hoping to find. The breakfast options were excellent making it hard to choose. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our selections and noted the fresh ingredients. They also had Bloody Mary and other options to kickstart the day. We will be back next time we visit our son who just moved to Winthrop.

It was starting to get hot out so we decided to find a spot with air conditioning and a cold drink. This was the only place open. Unfortunately they did not have air conditioning, the front door was open with a fan blowing in hot outside air; it also allowed for flies to enter. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks, the staff was very preoccupied with "other" things .. and it took a bit of time to get a drink. In fact my girlfriend ordered and her drink was delivered and it took an additional 10 minutes for him to take my order (just to clarify we were sitting right next to each other). They were out of my first choice, although it was still on the menu and the tap handle was right in front of me.. so I went with my second choice. We finished our drinks, paid up and left.. the no air conditioning and flies were too much.

Great food! Owners were awesome. We were the only ones there to start and then they got really busy all at once!! They did an amazing job... pulled pork sandwich was amazing!!!!!

This spot lives up to all the reviews and should be a spot for a quick dinner and drink after surveying the local area. First, the place is a bit small with a small menu, and by the time we had arrived there were some menu items that were gone for the day. But, that didn't stop our fun and made us know the food must be worth it. I enjoyed the cider flight to be able to try all the different options. I'm not sure which was my favorite, but I definitely loved the Pinnacle Goat & the Honey Bear. The Pinnacle's ginger flavor is very forward, but not overbearing. The Honey Bear is quite sweet, but not too much to enjoy more than one. I was quite impressed by the rib dinner. It included a sizable portion of meat with 2 sides and small dish of bbq sauce. The meat was smoky and had rich, with the bbq sauce adding a great glaze of sweetness. Although the server tried to warn me, I couldn't resist the Mac-and-cheese, which wasn't the best choice. I hear the onion rings are the better side option, but I did enjoy the slaw for a light refreshing bite after the heavy pasta and meat. Overall, I would send anyone to visit the Ciderhouse on a trip to the area.

What an adorbssss little spot just outside of downtown Winthrop. This place was within walking distance of where we were staying, and not too busy when we arrived around 8pm on a Saturday evening. We were greeted by the owner and friendly staff, and found a front row picnic table in the cider garden for a great view of the band. We opted for a couple of yummy microbrews, while we watched the band as the sun set. We even played a game of cornhole to end the fun evening. I especially loved that they had a nice campfire roaring for all to enjoy. Their menu looked tasty, too. We'll definitely plan to get here earlier and grab dinner on the next trip.

I first came here two years ago and this was a welcome haven after driving through the North Cascades. I was happy to return, and had two meals here that were just as enjoyable. THE ATMOSPHERE IS JUST RIGHT. You instantly feel comfortable and welcome walking in. The deck and outdoor areas are lovely and even inside the décor is pretty neat. The staff were all quite young and a little stilted, though very well meaning. Add some of their homemade ciders to the scene and you're in for an enjoyable time. DON'T SKIMP ON BREAKFAST. For dinner, the mozzarella sticks were delicious and my partner was very happy with his sandwich. Unfortunately they were out of the vegan sausage so I had to opt for pizza which was just alright. Breakfast is where this place shined (see breakfast menus attached), with delicious hashbrowns, omelets, and chilaquiles which I suspect are made with doritos! The only thing that could have been improved about breakfast is if they had a vegetarian bean option. I just plain enjoy the vibe here.

Pizzas tasted like they were of the frozen variety. Other locations in town have FAR better pizza options.

There were cockroaches in the dining area and the service was rude and slow. The food was far too expensive.

Some great views out on the patio and the drive had my head getting whiplash from checking out all the farms and vineyards. The overall experience, and granted this is coming from a first time customer, it was a bit odd. You get an explanation from the host when you first arrive. Go find your own seat, which had us debating for far too long on where to sit. And then you order at the front and get your own drinks. Normally, at a place you order and then sit down at, not confusing. But it was here for some reason? Maybe the layout or it just wasn't expected. Made for an odd start to our meal. So, prepare yourselves. One big negative is their orange juice. It's Tree Top in a plastic bottle. And it tastes horrible. Rancid. MinuteMaid isn't any better. Not Blueberry Hills Farms fault, just Tree Top needs to stick to apple juice.

Wait in a ridiculous line and pray you can even find a table. If you do manage to find a table, expect to be bumped, a lot. It's so incredibly cramped that you feel like you're being held hostage. The food is not worth the wait. It's incredibly mediocre, even by way of breakfast food which is incredibly difficult to mess up. Stale coffee, canned drinks, just nothing really special about the food in any way, shape, or form. The views are great. That's all I have to say in terms of the positive. Overall, this is not a place I will be giving my business to again, nor will any of my family, who are all Chelan County locals. We're not the only locals to avoid this place, either. The egregious waits and bland food we could deal with, but the business's online conduct and the way they choose to represent themselves have made this an absolute no-go.

And, let's be honest *checks map* there are not a lot of dining options in Mazama! In fact, earlier in the day, we actually popped in to ask if they took reservations (they don't) and to get a sense of the best time to arrive for dinner. The staff was super helpful and suggested coming around 5/5:30pm to beat the crowds. We followed their advice and showed up just after 5:30 and sure enough, there were still some tables available both inside and outside. We chose a shaded outdoor table and then placed our order at the register/bar. I went with the poke bowl because... of course I did. The portion size was generous, so generous that I couldn't finish it (probably because I had already devoured a massive pulled pork sandwich earlier at the Mazama Store... no regrets). The fish was fresh and the flavors were great. Service was impeccable. Everyone we interacted with was friendly yet efficient. Prices were also very reasonable especially for a relatively remote mountain town. While I didn't have any of the beers, there are plenty of craft brews available. All in all, Mazama Public House is a gem of a spot nestled in one of Washington's most scenic areas. Whether you're a hiker, cyclist, or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping in for a great meal and good vibes!
