While it gets pretty busy around 4pm, it's often nearly empty. The fenced playground has wood chips covering the ground with an adjacent paved parking lot that fits about 20 cars, 2 large structures with several slides and climbing or hanging options (one for younger kids and the other for older children), a set of swings for babies, older kids, and children who need full neck support (with a harness and crotch strap), 2 flowers in which kids can sit and spin, and a bouncy structure for sitting with a dinosaur and car theme. A soccer/softball field area sometimes hosts organized games for children but otherwise, can be a great place for babies to experience the feeling of grass under their feet and for toddlers to run around in a big, open space or kick a ball. Since we're usually here for a while, I typically bring some water and snacks for my daughter who enjoys them at some picnic tables in a grassy area nearby. A bathroom's accessible in the nearby Community Center through the parking lot area during the day or through the front doors after hours. With all these features, kids won't want to leave.

But, as one of the only fully fenced parks in the neighborhood, it has a fantastic setup to control the chaos that is the toddler phase. The park features a couple sets of swings, a few small areas with interactive pieces for smaller children, and a red merry-go-round that survived the 2023 park renovation. While I wouldn't recommend this park for older kids or those in the upper grades of elementary school, it's a perfect way to kill an afternoon with littler gremlins.

The 2-5 year olds Toddler playground has rubber mats on the ground to protect your little ones from little falls. 1 play structure, 5 Rocking features, and 2 Toddler swings are available. The Motorcycle rocking feature with the side car, the giraffe bench, and the shaded bench in the play structure are pretty awesome and adorabeezle. The 5-12 year olds playground has wood chip ground cover. It is a combination of older plastic, rope, and wood structures that should keep your kids climbing and sliding in very original ways. They are even very fun for those who are kids at heart. 1 large play structure, 1 climbing wall, 1 see saw table, 2 standard swings, and a tire swing are available. A few of the really original structures in the 5-12 year olds playground are the gondola at the back and the yellow sliding "rings" in the front of the play structure. The gondola can be moved between two platforms by turning the crank. The yellow sliding "rings" can be used by holding onto 1 yellow "ring" on each of 2 tracks that are next to each other. Then you need to alternate balancing your weight on one "ring" while sliding the other one forward. (Imagine trying to peddle with your hands in the air.) It's tons of fun and probably a pretty good upper body and core workout. The drinking fountain is located near the entrance of the 5-12 year olds playground. A Porta Potty is located to the left side of the playgrounds for your convenience. The Bee Meadow Pool and football field are just across the parking lot which has lots of parking.

Plenty of park benches and trash cans for having bday parties. Also Built in BBQ pits. Parking is free and very conveniently accessible with over 120 spots, with RV parking. Public bathrooms are available and opened and cleaned daily. There are 2 massive playgrounds available for all ages. One is located next to the park benches and BBQ puts and the other right behind the ball field. My daughter and I had an amazing time at cedar grove community park. Very clean and safe atmosphere. So, in reality it's a superb neighborhood park with playground equipment geared toward kids age 2-12, a single tennis court and a large grassy area often used as a soccer field but also good for lounging, frisbee or jumping jacks. There's a paved asphalt oval around the field, which is great for running track, and entrances from three sides. It also makes a great shortcut, depending on your commute, and a birthday party location, weather permitting. There are also public restrooms, which are usually open and this year smelled mostly of cigar smoke, which is why it gets four stars instead of five. Overall, though, it's a fine place to tire out your children!

It's where you see hometown baseball games and where Food Truck fundraisers are held. Local Carnivals and Fireworks are also held here. It's where you can go and get your cardio on while you walk/run around the Park. Just recently I found out that in the Summer and early Fall months they have a Farmer's Market on Mondays where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables. Many local 'up and coming' Bands have community concerts here at the Park. This place is a very cool park to hang out and be one with this outstanding Town.

It is so nice to see the change an updating over the last 10 yrs. You should of seen this place 10 yrs. Ago! What a mess!! Now they have redone a lot of it. There are new picnic tables, benches, bochie ball(not sure I'm spelling this right) the fields are green and the fence is updated. This park is perfect for a daily stroll, watching your children play sports, climbing on the jungle gym, reading a good book in the shade or sun& having a nice romantic lunch with your other half. This park is made for everything! It just depends in the day of the week and the time you come.
