So regardless to having excellent payment history, and if everything else is good for fielding gardens, you still get a HARD credit check. Anything more than four credit checks will put you into the "POOR" credit check category. Fielding gardens tells you it doesn't stay there long, but two years is a long time!! These people need to fix their application process NOT to hurt people's credit!!! All they care about now , is doing the credit check first, then figuring out if you will be approved by income, rental history, etc. Their application process is REVERSED, beware of that, because they do not care!

The office manager couldn't be more personable and is on top of her game, always willing to listen and do anything to help. She is just a pleasure to deal with. The maintenance is fantastic - fast and always available at the drop of a hat. Winter plowing is absolutely no problem...has started as early as 3:00 a.m. and goes all day if necessary. It's not to much to ask prospective tenants to have a job, decent credit and a reference from current landlord. I recommend this complex all the time - great place to live for seniors. I love it here!

There was a strict no pets policy which was amended to cats and small dogs non aggressive breeds and has somehow turned into anything goes. The garbage rooms are deplorable and they videotape you disposing of trash so they can fine you if you don't follow the posted rules. You are allowed 2 vehicles per unit but that is not enforced so half the time you have nowhere to park. The staff are rude and do not want to be bothered unless you threaten to call government agencies.

We have lived here three years now, have had minor complaints, some that applied mostly to just some of the people that lived around us, but the office was great, and we loved our apartment! The last month has been an absolute disgust to even live here! The office has tried hiding the fact there is a rodent problem at all from us; it was my neighbor who gave me a trap for my basement and only because of her we knew a problem existed. Between our two buildings, we have caught about 15 mice in a month. The office denies there's a problem, does nothing to close off any points of entry, and will honestly make you feel like you are crazy for being so upset about this. I am so thankful our lease is up next month and I hope no one else has to go through this disaster. I don't know if this property is under new management or what, but for your own sake, unless you love a good rodent infestation, lease somewhere else in Greece.

There are no cameras on this property. The walls seem to be paper thin as I could hear my upstairs neighbor's teen clearly stomping around and screaming profanities at his video games (he also flooded his bathroom causing water to leak through the ceiling of mine) He and his friend would also play football around the cars in the lot and laugh when they hit the building or the cars themselves. They recently put in several new speedbumps that i swear were so tall I would go over them at 2mph and still feel like there was damage being done to my car. When it finally came time for the move out we left it spotless but the office staff claimed it "smelled of pet" and ripped up the carpet, claiming the stains were cat urine and it was "unfixable damage" that the whole carpet needed replacing (my cats have never in their 16 years of life peed on the floor, it was literally just vomit, but god knows they're not gonna test because they'd rather get that extra money to unnecessarily replace the carpet) You're telling me that my elderly cats, who have been through 4 moves now and have never left a "pet smell" behind suddenly starting pissing "all over the apartment" as if we wouldn't have smelled it? Also, when moving in, Kristen made and INCREDIBLY RUDE comment after hearing how old our cats were stating "You won't be getting money back from the pet rent if one of them passes" And apparently the pet rent isn't even there to cover any pet related damages. You're literally just paying extra money to own your pet and have it in the building. So don't expect your deposit back because they WILL find a way to keep it out of greed. And if you have pets... Good luck because they'll play dirty tricks to make you pay for damages that weren't there in the first place.

Common entryways are better for meeting others in your building. The appliances have not been replaced since the buildings were constructed and are approximately 25 years old. If they break they are never replaced; only old working parts are put into them. The counters water faucets etc are also old. The counters are so porous that every thing stains them and the only way to clean them is with bleach. The windows are the cheapest available and do not hold in the heat. You can feel drafts around them and see the curtains blowing around from the draft. The managers solution is to go to the rental office and use the sauna if you are really cold!
