When I overheated in a hot yoga class here, the instructor, Dani, refused to allow me to leave the…read moreroom due to "health and safety," despite me saying I was going to pass out. (Nobody had said we wouldn't be allowed to leave while the class was in progress--I wouldn't have gone in if so). When I quietly gathered my things and slipped out, she followed me into the men's changing room, became physically confrontational, and ended up by literally throwing all my stuff out into the hallway. I was very distressed, and my *actual* health was put at risk. A really shocking and upsetting experience.
